How do you do floating cubes when you customize weapons?
God dammit. I'm sorry but IMO this is just going to ruin things more than it's going to help because your character is the same on every server. People are just going to hack their way to level XXXX or whatever and give themselves the best of absolutely everything and take the fun out of the game.
Even worse, my friend was playing on a public server, a hacker came in and leveled up everyone to level 6425 then left...
If you want to skip the beginning levels, the best thing to do is coop with some people on a few bosses and you should start leveling up like mad. I wouldn't want to start again from level 1 if I made a new character either.
Even worse, my friend was playing on a public server, a hacker came in and leveled up everyone to level 6425 then left...
This is why public servers won't work right now in alpha as there is no way of stopping them. I don't know how you would be able to avoid this other than hide the ip address of the server, but how would Wollay try to stop this for the future?
How do you do floating cubes when you customize weapons?
Add some and then move the ones under it.
Well that was fast, seems like the shop was open for only about 15 minutes. I managed to get it though.
Add some and then move the ones under it.
You can move blocks?
You can move blocks?
Yes but I forgot how. Try around. You can move every block of the weapon.
So how does generating new areas work? I thought it would smoothly get harder as you went further out by I have white, blue, and red areas checkerboarding all over the map.
So how does generating new areas work? But I'm pretty sure some regions are harder than others no matter what, like the lava region.
I'm never going to be able to buy this game.
Same, at least not until Wollay uses something other than PayPal :(
Damn bosses dropping mage gear.
This is the best weapon Doesn't save me from most bosses hitting me like sissies 99% of the time and then oneshotting me at random though. The other issue is dear jesus bosses have a lot of health, I've fought a boss for over ten minutes and had it pay out 8 XP and a 10 power spirit. If it's that weak compared to me it should probably not have that much health, I cannot even imagine how long that would have taken someone of its level to kill. It's like fighting elder dragons at level 80 in Skyrim with the difficulty maxed, right down to not actually being difficult at all, just taking forever.
Yes but I forgot how. Try around. You can move every block of the weapon.
Uhh, no you can't. Only the ones you placed.
crossbow is OP as fuck as a ranger. spam M2 and your shots deal as much damage as standard shots - only you can shoot about 5x faster
It's so fun to glide near enemies as Rogue and the dive-drop at them with 1 skill. Looks badass too.
crossbow is OP as fuck as a ranger. spam M2 and your shots deal as much damage as standard shots - only you can shoot about 5x faster
I doubt it's intended.
Since swefox's server seems to be down I'll host one for a while. I just got the game so preferably new characters. :v: rautapalli.kicks-ass.net is the address.
I have to agree with Foogooman, it takes far too long to level up. I've been playing for a solid hour and only hit level 2. I've died about twenty times now to things like beetles that can solo me with ease and the monsters I am able to kill only give 1 to 2 xp. I did manage to find one monster at one point that when killed gave me 6 xp but I haven't seen one since. I decided to try to take on a crossed sword mission figuring I could get XP that way but nope. That boss rolled me over and stomped my head in faster than I could run away. I've found almost nothing that allows me to craft anything except some ginseng roots (which in their own right are useless because the enemy can attack you while you stand there eating). IMO it's far, far too hard to level. Especially when I can't scratch half the monsters I come across. [editline]Edited:[/editline] I'll give multiplayer a try on your server and see if that's any better.

I just don't understand what's so difficult on finding things your level...
trying to buy it but registration servers are offline?
So has anyone found any portals yet ? If you don't know what I mean here is a quote from the website.
Portals Portals consist of magic rune stones that can be found anywhere in the world. Players can quickly teleport between discovered portals.
I assume they are in the game as on the website it is highlighted. Still not sure what I am on about click this picture to enlarge or scroll down the website to find it: https://picroma.com/cubeworld [t]http://i43.tinypic.com/bhn1pt.png[/t] ------ Edit: Never mind they are in game but are apparently rare so almost pointless at the moment.

I came across one purple monster who killed me faster than the stupid boss at the crossed swords mission.

If I'd sailed around that island I'd have missed it entirely, but it was night and there was a campfire by the portal so I wanted to check if there was a bedroll to wait out the night. Honestly I expected it to teleport me to a dungeon. I speculate there's actually one in every region, since that would make sense, but exploring everywhere to find them would take forever and a day.
Snout beetles are the scariest mother fuckers I've ever seen. They'll chase you to the ends of the earth if they have to, just to make sure you die.

Orange are a bit less harder, blue not sure? hardest ones? white and forgot the other color are pretty much the ones near your level or easier.
inc pic dump btw guardian fighters don't fuck around [t]http://i.imgur.com/FMOYoJi.jpg[/t] pic related, me not fucking around. Trolls are awesome to fight, a bunch of different attacks, and them destroying blocks makes the fight seem even more dramatic. After I kicked his butt I noticed I was on the fringe of another biome, so I put on my exploring boots. [t]http://i.imgur.com/nEBqyy9.jpg[/t] The place was fairly empty, aside from the occasional massive golem and wandering adventurer. And then I stumbled upon this; [t]http://i.imgur.com/DtmhVGF.png[/t] My own pretty pyramid. The enemies inside were +1 but still had white names, so I'll be coming back here. I carried on towards town, [t]http://i.imgur.com/j9QaWou.png[/t] And what a pretty town it is. Though with all the golems around, I don't think I'll be staying in this biome for long.
So does anyone have even a clue how the seeds actually work, or does everyone just mash random numbers and take note of the ones that spawn you near a good ore cave?
