Okay so basically I felt like dicking around with the game to see how badly I can break it.
RESULTS
- Skills are fucking near infinite, and it takes an appalling amount of points to actually max one. Example: the max speed of the hang glider is 450%. However, it's still at 449.99% at level 99999. Since the next level preview showed it still being 449.99%, I decided to just raise it to 999999 (which did result in the full 450%) and leave it at that.
- If you move fast enough, you can go even faster than the world generates. If you keep it up, you'll end up with the screen being entirely blue.
- If you move even faster, you'll get a "Please wait" message, as the game is desperately loading the world for you. The game is not paused by this message.
- If you move EVEN FASTER, you'll get perm locked to the "Please wait" message, until you slow down.
- If you refuse to slow down, the game will fucking slap you off your hang glider.
I started flying at the red line. Eventually I got smacked off the glider for unknown reasons, followed by a 5-second free fall to death.

Here's how I did it:
Playing as rogue. Maxed hang glider, retreat, and scout's swiftness.
Jump+retreat+glider+swiftness.
Tap jump to a certain rhythm. If done right, you can min/max the stamina drain and flight duration.
Keep spamming swiftness whenever possible.

I can't make myself play a ranger. I try, but I miss my water mage skills.
The only thing that really disappoints me about ranger gliding, is that retreat doesn't boost the glider up.
And I can't figure out how to find stamina to mod it, so there goes the dream of infinite gliding...

Cant you stop flying really fast, use retreat then re-open your hang glider?
You don't hold the button down when speedgliding, you tap it quickly once every second or so. Lasts a very good while, and when you do run out of stamina, land, and take off again. Works fantastically.
Also when I saw the clouds for the first time, they seemed as if you could walk on them. Shame that you can't.

Yup, I wish I did that. Thankfully I still have my rogue. Oddly enough, he's level 159 - legitimately leveled.
