Having some suits be completely bulletproof to low-caliber rounds is not realistic though I'd maybe accept it on the exoskeleton and only for 9x19 and 9x18, but that's it
is there anyway to make decent money in MISERY? becouse i found a pretty nice looking AK With a nice sight on it, tried to repair:62000 ru while i only had 5000 and almost no medical supplies becouse i almost died from radiation on my way from the boat with the semi-artifact to Skadovsk :V else ill just get Absolute nature, atmosfear 3 and i guess a nice weaponary mod

Some thick plates of carbon should be pretty bulletproof. Late game suits are pretty expensive too. I don't think your concept of "realistic" is correct.
Bullets always do some damage - as they also carry a kinetic energy (read the popup of the mentioned protection bar in inventory). However - yeah, hi-tier, heavy combat armors will feel almost as bullet-proof to low-speed / low-weight fmj pistol ammo both on player and NPCs.

Pistol calibers, while not as weak as people think, aren't all THAT powerful that their kinetic energy would pass through something like Duty PSZ-9D, let alone the bullet itself. I know it seems like I'm on Misery's dick right now but there's a line for each one of us where realism and fun meet optimally and Misery's...it's close to mine.
Well - just check various bullet types and armors in-game and provide feedback on the balance. It'll be very much appreciated (I've spent crazy ammount of time tuning this and learning how it works irl - really wanted to nail it like never before). Also note that armor values for each armor and helmet are set separetly for each body part >>> these custom settings are then manually assinged for each NPC mesh. For ex. there is a config like: light armor + heavy helmet, or heavy armor + no helmet etc.
One thing I did notice though - fix the damn Stalker Journal entries at loading screens. There are grammatical errors that kind of irk me when I see them. Some of the item descriptions have faults too. I'll write them down the next time I see them.
Also starting as an assaulter was fun. start in the ranger station, leave through one of the gates, get slaughtered by a gang of bandits :v:

I can't see a lot(?) of the SSP description and that new gasmask you added, which I still don't know the name of because the name is out of screen. Running 1920x1080 resolution.
That remodeled Cordon is sexy. [t]http://i.minus.com/ibuCPnqkLsznsM.png[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/iK433dbQo3lOx.png[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/iBNcoMzMA4iuA.png[/t]
Was browsing CoP mod with tag "russian" and found this gold. http://ap-pro.ru/forum/36-9761-1 Dude remodeled almost all SHoC an CS locations and made some new. Screens (jpeg rape by russian imagehosting):
Surprisingly SGM 2.2 actually got the Cordon,Swamps,Dark Valley,Agroprom,Red Forest and Army Warehouses from Clear Sky with relative ease, surprised he didn't try to get the Rostok,Wild Territory or Yantar too.
Nevermind then, I fixed it. I have another question: I'm thinking of checking out SGM later but apparently 2.2 is buggy or something. Should I get 2.1 or 2.2?
Oh my god Misery ain't got shit on SGM now. I mean I was showing my friend the military exo and I just noticed the words WIZARD KNIFE!
Nevermind then, I fixed it. I have another question: I'm thinking of checking out SGM later but apparently 2.2 is buggy or something. Should I get 2.1 or 2.2?
Not as buggy as people think of it. It only crashed twice for me.
Not as buggy as people think of it. It only crashed twice for me.
I've had like 1 or 2 crashes dealing with some area transfer having a certain gun out, and the adjust able scopes being annoying.
Apparently weapon damage is fucked too.
This I suspect isn't their fault, but rather people who think the starting weapons are pinpoint-accurate, and thus any lack of hits and therefore kills is a damage fault. I can partially understand why due to the lack of tracers. I had the same initial reaction to the starter Mosin.
Don't make mods if you can't handle the heat of criticism and hate
Or simply test thoroughly (this from me, a bloke who's first mod release CTD'd upon startup in it's first release version :v:)
M.S.O+AF 3 + Absolute Textures M.S.O did the spawning the best where it added spawns but respected vanilla's "gating" with the monsters like not having Pseudos spawn all over the map until you hit a certain flag and the random mercenaries patrolling around the general Jupiter area are released when you kill the bandits at the Container Warehouse and so on.
Thing is, they are using MSO (iirc the bloke who made it worked on a special one for Misery), so either they deliberately removed all restrictions (would make sense with the general theme of the mod), or something broke.
Avoid SE AMK is good OGSE is amazing
I heartily second OGSE. It's basically a Russian mod with excellent quality control and a first-party translation.
how can there be bugs they had a full beta testing team for months, that's a shame
I personally suspect that either they were missing some files in the release they they had on their dev copies and forgot to pack, and that they all have gigantic widescreen monitors and didn't really test on smaller ones (explains the off-the-screen text boxes)
trojanuch I demand Wizard Knives in Misery 2.0.1
Oh, okay. I feel like a retard now. Since arriving in Yanov (and while in Zaton) I felt like something was off. It turns out that every single "radio" music track is Teardrops. What is going on.
Can you upload a save please? Still - I think its a coincidence - tracks are randomly selected + are 'packaged' by 3 into a single file which gets selected, so Teardrops would repeat with 2 other tracks.
trojanuch I demand Wizard Knives in Misery 2.0.1
Maybe a wand would be better? ;)

Welp, Buried Ground is pretty similar to how it's described in the books. Foggy, fucked up place with it's own nature. Military Trader in Pripyat sells one of these Wizard Knives , too bad they aren't much different from regular knives
Military Trader in Pripyat sells one of these Wizard Knives , too bad they aren't much different from regular knives
You dare speak bad of Wizards of the Zone?
And Darkscape is... dark. Yet it looks cool even for a transition level. [t]http://i.minus.com/iZnYKHnme6Jky.png[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/iblCQVvK2NiSHi.png[/t] [t]http://i.minus.com/isD5Vc6nAI82m.png[/t][t]http://i.minus.com/i0sLrMtHloFXk.png[/t] Ok, I'm done. Everyone is Misery'd here.

Secondly - I don't want to dl off some shitty russian site.
I'd download it but theres two things. Firstly - Does it have mutants and stalkers and all that shit roaming around? Secondly - I don't want to dl off some shitty russian site.
It's an archive with separate locations. They all have matching living things (anomalies, stalkers, creatures by location). The only incomplete thing is a map-minimap. Once you drop a gamedata into your CoP folder - start a new game and you'll spawn in a new location. Here is a torrent: http://www.mediafire.com/?h8i1fbndnbvgbgv
Anybody know of a mod for STALKER CoP that just has a bunch of new weapons? A download link would be appreciated if you know of one.
