It's not fun if they can take my bullets but I can't take theirs. Just do it like any other mod, they can't take many bullets, but neither can I. I find it difficult to play any other way after playing Metro on ranger hardcore, granted you can't exactly reflect that difficulty in stalker but it can get close enough.

Presumably fixes repair prices and damage to not be ridiculous. 02/08/2013 update: Merged Unfuck patch with AnonTim's patch Patch

I understand why people would be mad that the Mosin uses the incorrect round, being that the round it uses instead is much more plentiful, but if it bothers you that much just find the file for the Mosin and fix it...

I understand why people would be mad that the Mosin uses the incorrect round, being that the round it uses instead is much more plentiful, but if it bothers you that much just find the file for the Mosin and fix it...
I'll just go out of my way right now in a blatant attempt to stir shit up in the thread and say this: Just because it is possible for players to go out of their way and fix the bugs or inconsistencies in a mod, does not excuse the presence of the aforementioned bugs or inconsistencies. Not to mention the fact that a lot of players aren't exactly wizards (or rookies, for that matter) when it comes to tweaking with Stalker and its mods. It can be fixed, doesn't mean you shouldn't complain or whine or try and bring it to the attention to the creators/more experienced modders. I am completely retarded and am unable to change the ammunition that it uses, and I am pretty sure it is not as simple as just changing a file, due to trader stock lists and pricing etc. I'd much rather see it fixed officially than a makeshift fix that will probably cause the x-ray engine to explode should I attempt such a thing. Oh and, I don't know the first thing about firearms, but it pained me to see a historic weapon's ammunition get screwed up. As minor as it is, it's still a bug/inconsistency in a mod that is trying to be somewhat more realistic and add more variation to the base game.
You linked patch 1 wrong aswell. It's a condensed link.
I am a huge retard please rape my face (fixed the link)

I would love to see this guys reaction if the misery team patches it and makes it like these community tweaks that he is complaining about.
I would love to see this guys reaction if the misery team patches it and makes it like these community tweaks that he is complaining about.
He wouldn't respond and then if somebody brought it back up, he'd either complain about them changing it to 'cater to the casuals' or say he played some more and agreed later on. You see that type of shit all the time in MMOs, which get patches more frequently than most other games. I've gotten tired of the bickering myself and just accept that I may not be part of the audience the patches are targeting.
Nugget Caliber
Is 7.62x54 7N1/14 acceptable for you? I've got a non-crashy modded config that changes it if you want.
I've already managed a workaround, but I foresee an issue with traders in the future.
How so? Lack of available ammo? You're after [supplies_generic] in the trader files if so, first number is the amount in stock, second is how likely it is to be in stock.
has anyone managed to get past the burnt farmstead yet? i can't advance in any direction without dying [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] instantly [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] and painfully [editline]1st August 2013[/editline] talking about misery 2.0 ofc

Otherwise you're taking 800+% damage from burns.
what the fuck
what the fuck
960% if you're a Sniper! 840% otherwise. They really went all out to Cheeki our Breekis with this one.

And yeah, Misery 2 is a fail-ass mod, but complaining to Facepunch (or probably the devs for that matter) won't change a thing.

Anyone got a link to Dooms Freeplay mod? Any link I've found 404's, and I wish to worship the Monolith properly.

you're a good person
So, I've been getting my butt kicked by COP Redux. It's been one hell of an experience after cruising through most of the game the last time. For the first time since I started playing Stalker, I actually had to decide to not fight mutants. Now, does Redux remove all the stashes? I've seen a few PDA updates about them, but they are never marked. I've set the map to show them and there is nothing. What gives?

Since they're static in CoP, if you know where to go you can get top-end gear immediately after starting with little to no danger involved. I believe for the next version it's a mixture of static stashes with minor loot and SoC/CS style stashes with more randomized loot.
Well fuck. It's going to be a grueling game to beat.

I think all the parts are there for Misery, it just needs more polish and balance work.
