Is there a way to not make enemies with Bandits in CS? Every time I see them, they shoot (this might be cuz I got mad when they robbed me at a check point, so I qucik loaded and shot them).

Some screen space effect, I have no idea what it is really. Lyokanthrope, PanzerDraco or Holden would know better.
I'm hoping that the handguns will be viable to use in L.U.R.K. Every time I play any S.T.A.L.K.E.R game I just end up using the SMG's then move onto the AK's and never bother with the pistols, they seem to take wayyy to many shots to kill. :(
LURK's guns are already fucking good. I'm loving my OP Fort 12.
1.2 will be a whole new thing anyways, but I'm confident Panzer will make them a viable option.
I remember Lurk .7 or so where the TOZ could kill everything. Went through the whole game with it, fun as hell.
How fucked am I if I don't accept Strider to the group in CoP? He's bugged and he shoots the Duty recruiters, so I won't be able to recruit him.

He's not really a good fighter most of the time in the underpass so it's no big loss. Although I think that you'll miss out on the Friend of Duty Achievement and thus Hawaiian won't sell you prime Duty stuff but that's not too terrible unless you want a steady source of PKM ammo / VOG-25 grenades.

I'm actually fairly certain the models i have the most of a problem with are the 1911, the browning and the makarov. they all look like they were half modeled from source material and then they sort of just gave up halfway through and winged the models. giving us the pretty crappy ones we have today.
i think the only 2 models that look decent are the m9 and the USP (although it could be a bit less bulky, it still looks sex as fuck). there are other models as well but those two take the cake as being the least fucked up looking pistols in the game.
Well, to be fair, most of their gun models have been made like in 2002 and carried over from build to build with minimal changes, heh.

The best hope would be dez0wave being hired to be the team for STALKER 2 after releasing LA but for now it's probably best to consider Lost Alpha the next major S.T.A.L.K.E.R. title (which by all right it should be considered as).

[B]Jupiter Plant - Redux vs Vanilla[/B]
[I]The Jupiter Plant is receiving a huge amount of work in Redux v2.0, particularly in terms of playable-space for exploration and NPC encounters.
As part of this, I have decided to remove the arbitrary 'you can't go there' fences around the plant, opening up the area and creating more space for play.
As you can see in this image, the addition of new objects in these areas will bring them up to playable quality!
The difference in quality between the current WiP Redux v2.0 build and vanilla is vast as I'm sure you'll agree, largely due to the wonderful AtmosFear 3 by Cromm Cruac![/I]
