thank you very much!
For those interested in seeing some of my artwork here is my DeviantArt. http://nathandejong.deviantart.com/
Again I'm not the best comic artist in the world, but I plan on making the story the main part of this project. Although there has to be a strong bond between art and story.
I feel your pain. A small trick / cheat is to set the grenade_feel distance to an extremely high number or something

Well, shit. That's too quality for me to participate with my moderate writing skills. I strongly suggest asking Paravin. He is the superior artist of literature in this thread.
Also I crashed while going to Yantar in TFW 3.8 with this:
Expression : fatal error
Function : CScriptEngine::lua_error
File : E:\priquel\sources\engine\xrServerEntities\script_engine.cpp
Line : 180
Description : <no expression>
Arguments : LUA error: ...\common\stalker clear sky\gamedata\scripts\_g.script:982: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got nil)
Any help, oh fashion designers?
That particular script crash seems familiar to me, but i'll be damned if I know how to fix it :/

I'm an awful writer so if you have any sort of writing skills it'll likely be much better than anything I could come up with

its good art and i am always interested to see fan work that expands the universe of STALKER. but i dont see any stalker comics...

Well the thing is my skills of story writing are not...suitable for comics, lest you want them to be NSFW and then some. Just ask the thread, they know what I'm talking about. Actually now that I think about it, Paravin is the same but he can also write more normal STALKER things since AFAIK he's worked on the fluff items of Redux.

That's part of the reason why I'd like to see a comic done, I don't see really much post apocalyptic art or stories being made.

I'm considering literally taking short paragraphs and putting them in the story or I'm going to do this as a comic-comic and actually use word bubbles. There's power to both approaches and I'm going to find what works best for each story I receive. I think to be fair I'll make another thread when I get all the submissions in and have everyone vote on the story they would like to see the most.
Does anyone have a fix for the streaky wet surfaces I get in TFW?
illustrate a well known stalker tale or story, that would be fun

oh You are going to do comics i see, i wouldn't volunteer as a writer because I am extremely slow with my writing and looking back at my one attempt at writing something id say it came out as a mary sue attempt at a world wide zone.
instead i reccomend taking a hint off of these fine artists and use well known stalker shorts to make the comic. link 1 link 2 link 3
OP you should link this, stalkers gotta see the stories.
edited: links didnt work at first...

make no mistake drawing comics is a slow process. I'm not entirely sure whether I'll release one page at a time frequently or just finish the entire project and post it altogether
I should probably finish making my weapon ejection mod... Amongst other things, especially now I got 3D Max finally working again and can export mesh's for Stalker.

You can see the progression of attempting to get down to the right size ;)
Curse those books, gotta say though. Didn't expect the first take of it to come out THAT big...
Russian nested books?

also check out the stash spreadsheet when you can, I've been a busy bee in jupiter
Realised why I didn't play SGM 2.2 for long; the endless running about from one end of the map to the other and back again. Sure does look pretty in the Cordon with the Atmosfear 3/Absolute Nature & Structures combo, though.

Big book looks quite nice. I'm guessing the small one is the proper ingame size?
oh, yeah
there are five variants of closed book, three variants of open book
Redux-ho!

Are the open variants complete and imported?
yeah but they don't need physics as it'd look weird without it sort of folding in half, and I don't know how to do that!

Merc Page, move along, nothing to see here.
Their blue suits surrounded him, he knew he had nowhere left to run. The bullets whizzed past him closer and closer, as the group approached him like a hungry pack of wolves. The prey let out a few more stray shots before a bullet buried itself deep in his chest. Gasping for air the man raised his eyes up the pack leader. A weak question pushed itself over the mans lips: "Why..?" The answer was quick and with no emotions: "It's our job." After the final word, all the sound that filled the small room was the muffled bang of a pistol and a last gasp of a dead man.
