MISERY 2: Unfuck patch to-do's - Equal damage to you and enemies from the same weapon if you both have the same armor. - Radiation is stupidly annoying to heal and it's necessary to heal since with it you can't sleep.

I'm starting a new playthrough of SoC with the LURK mod and since I don't go on this thread often, what do you guys think of the LURK mod?

Doesn't offer much new stuff, it's basically a better looking vanilla game with much more diverse gun selection and much deeper gun mechanics. Also "realism".

[B]MISERY 2: Unfuck patch to-do's[/B] - All damage is equal in damage to both sides, player and NPC. Resistances are not increased for either side, either; exoskeleton protects as much the player as it does NPCs. - Tier 1 artifacts like Jellyfish sell for terrible amounts of money and are moderately available. (You find this shit all the way in the Cordon, in the middle of the Zone I doubt they're scarcely available at all) Tier 2 artifacts give perhaps 2000 rubles and are rare to find. (The bread and butter artifacts of the Zone; people use them but they're nothing special) Tier 3 are frustratingly difficult to find, finding one is to be considered a small miracle and sell for a large sum (over 10 000 rubles, since these are the main reason stalkers wanted to go into the heart of the Zone). - Upgrades are more expensive on suits but provide minuscule boosts on tier 1, moderate boosts on tier 2 and drastic boosts to suit effectiveness on tier 3 upgrades. This, in my personal opinion would make Misery my favourite mod of the year. I have no issue in the item department whatsoever regarding usage. The prices sometimes are annoying but not gamebreaking and I love the custom modifications, suit mod artifacts as I like to call them. However making tier 3 artifacts extremely valuable and seriously rare would make artifact hunting that much more challenging. Think about it this way: A player goes to the Swamp anomaly to look for a Bubble for 30 ingame days, once each day. The repairs start becoming a huge load on his economy. The chances of finding that one artifact are so minuscule that he's basically trying to win the lottery. HOWEVER, if the Zone is on his side, he gets it after a few days and makes a profit. Do note that he also risks his life for quite possibly 30 days in dangerous anomalies. This might get broken in Yanov though with the artifact detectors in anomalies, but it'd be a better choice to me than the current system.

Nothing is worse than reaching pripyat after 30 hours playing stalker reloaded just for the General NPC Guy to get glitched when you talk to him.. there goes glorious 30 hours of russian vodka and shooting at duty

Clear Skies is a rather fun mod, even in it's alpha state. Never before in any mod has the PMm been so lethal :v: That being said, for some reason they're using Skygraphics rather than Kingo's practically identical but more optimised shaders. I'm also hoping they intend to tackle the usual faction war problems; it's dreadfully annoying to go back to Clear Sky's base to sell loot, only to be then cheated out of the rewards for liberating the other areas by the missions being cancelled despite no CS squads having successfully taken them. That, and the usual laser-accurate grenades.
