Open up your console, type in "demo_record = 1" and there you go. F12 is used for screens in this mode.

Huh, TFW 3.8 changes less than I thought it would. My ballistics mod seems to work fine, although it did crash when I tried to load a save of normal TFW, so you might have to start a new game? Maybe it's just Xray hating me.

Log please. Weapon edits can't be causing this because they're loaded when the initialisation of the weapon-configs is done seconds before the game starts, meaning weapon configs can be done at any time without the need for a new game iirc. I tested this, running stalker in 800x600 windowed, with an ak74u config next to it and I played with the vanilla gun first, paused stalker, edited the RPM of the weapon and loaded my previous save. Ak had 900 rpm after the safe :v:

I'm not actually sure what the differences are myself, either. I've definitely seen a lot less stalkers roaming around so far than the last version; it all feels a bit more desolate. Could just be the spawns acting up or the factions starting off weaker though.

What exact values did you change and how many? All weapons?
Various things on all the weapons, and sounds. Apparently in the latest version of it I didn't include the changes I did to the NPCs and weapon names :v:

Sounds? Ahh. Did you comment the sounds? In some cases sounds may indeed crash your game (for some reason) I've had it several times as well, where I edited the reloading sounds of some weapons etc. and the game wouldn't start. Try to comment them with a program called SAVnT or with the SDK and try again

All the sounds are from The Warmongers/Reloaded, I didn't do anything to them myself. That could explain the random crashing though, could I get a link to that program? I tried Googling it and didn't get anything useful.

With the amount of CoP mods being made i'm surprised no one has addressed the abysmal grass draw distance. :(

They have, there's a patched .dll for it and it's bundled with Redux, it's just disabled in those screens.

bloody hell, I don't know what it is but it just seems shadows disappeared from my SoC.
Playing Misery 2.0.
It's all decent, except the mutants are overpowered to horrifyingly ridiculous levels. But that's a given for misery.
And the human enemies are made of iron. It's a rarity when it takes less than half of a 30 round magazine to the torso to take someone down. Headshots allow you to cut down on ammo usage by taking a mere 3-4 rounds to the face to kill them.
And you have to watch out when you raid a merc base. When you enter their premises, they'll use everything they learned in teleportation 101 to surround you. Like honestly you'll be swarmed by about 7 guys in less than a minute. And they won't bother taking cover, they know that ammo's too heavy for you to carry enough to take them all down.
anyone has a link for the vanilla CoP hud?, since i reaaaally dont like the misery HUD ....
or the NanoHUD

Its been done, but it really kills performance.
Redux is actually finished but beacon is just teasing y'all with screenshots now and then because he is evil incarnate.

Decided to visit Cordon for the first time in my TFW game:
