Fucking psi storms, one hit while I was at the gas station in zaton. I died at least 10 times trying to find a way to escape the blue lightning bolts of death. Hiding didnt work, running worked for a bit but then I ran out of energy drinks and died. The only way I escaped it was jumping down that really deep hole and taking shelter in the cave.

Updated my TFW ballistics mod again: [url]http://www.mediafire.com/download/m4s4k55jgf7wnsp/Total_Reloaded_Warfare_1.5.2.7z[/url] Fixed even more crashing (freedom base music and cat_idle were causing crashes apparently), reduced the size of the NPC collision boxes, made medkits heal more, made medkits and bandages heal more bleeding, and made grenades useful.

Sadly, it appears Clear Sky in my TFW game are dead. It's just some guys and a sock puppet chilling around the lookout tower, their boat yard camp is dead so it appears I cannot travel to their base. bu-but I don't want to join duty! :(

This is all within 5 minutes of starting a new game, of course.
Great, now I'm crashing near the Freedom base and my crash log isn't pointing to any .ogg files or even giving me any errors besides the findsountitem crash. God I hate Xray. :v:
Misery is indeed miserable, they also increased inflation like ten-fold. 1K RU for a loaf of bread, aw ye.

Made it to skadovsk just as an emission hit. I have triumphed over the zone with steel and lead. Mutant pigs are not too terribly dangerous. When they charge at you, both barrels will sort them out. If they get any closer I usually high-tail it out of there and find a rock or something. Rocks are my savior. Those cat things, however, are a death sentence for me. I just stay the fuck away from them.
