How does a man carry 100 kilograms of equipment?
Well, i dont know what to do with Strider in CoP. I cant find him safe place with Duty or Freedom, because they both dont trust me. I helped them both to gain their trust, still they dont beileve me. Ive finished this game 3-4 times before and had never had that situation. Damn it :V
Yeah, apparently you have to side with Freedom or Duty at every opportunity in order to find Strider a home. Which sucks because Man of Balance is the best achievement, but getting it means no Strider for the underground as well as no Leader achievement.

A man can do anything if he is a wizard.
True story.
the idea is you put them in containers when you're not using them, but since that's not really properly implementable it's kinda skipped over
NLC has a working system of this, you have varying size of lead lined containers, some of them are more radiation resistant for higher tier artifacts but hold less and weigh more.
It's possible to get Man of Balance and recruit Strider, but it requires some careful selling of PDAs and achieving of achievements. Check out the GSC forums, I think Tejas explains how to do it.

Feed Freedom/Duty buds with medkits. Once they become friends to you - as them about Strider.

Oh OK, here it is:

That's a lot of work...
I guess you could also try:
Turn Flint/Magpie into Freedom/Duty
Get Diplomat.
Complete at least two of Trappers missions.
This should force Freedom or Duty to green, allowing you to recruit Strider.
A few people said that that always worked for them.
It does, typically. I always keep the PDA's and associated information, so I usually do this:
1. Magpie to Freedom.
2. Dipset.
3. Various missions to improve general standings (Loners, Freedom, Duty).
4. Loner-based missions as opposed to factional.
5. Recruit them to Freedom. (cuz duty is for dootyheads)
You'll have everyone's respect except for Jack. He's too cool for that.
17 year old Jasmine Willis, a Durham, UK waitress overdosed by drinking 7 double espressos in 2007. She was taken to the hospital, but recovered soon after. (that’s roughly 1.078 grams)
Price of an Espresso in Finland: 2-4€ (Depends on where you buy them) - 250mg
Price of a tin of Scho-Ka-Kola: 5€ including shipping and handling - 625mg per tin
Price of a box of 10 tins: 27€ (Without S/H) - 6250mg total

I'm looking for a mod for Clear Sky that I used to play a few years ago, it was a general overhaul of the game. I also remember that the Resident Evil soundtrack was playing in the main menu with a Stalker sitting in the middle.
The story and gameplay remained mostly the same but it added tons of stuff and changed the balancing. Any idea what kind of mod that could have been?
Nevermind I found it, it's called CS Enhanced 1.2
In a mission in TFW, Clear Sky told me to find Hermit and give him a case of some shit. Well, I go to the marker and he isn't there. It says he's in the middle of the Dark Valley (where you saved Mole in SoC) but he's nowhere to be found, nor is his corpse even anywhere. Where is he hiding?

Holy shit how have I never thought of this. That's literally twice my weight.
So how is MISERY 2.0?

I am confirming that once it arrives, I will save the nearest weekend for a caffeine high Faction Wars ragethrough. What the hell, let's down some vodka for good measure, this is STALKER after all.
Que caffeine crash.
A crash has been detected by your brain!
So how is MISERY 2.0?
Opinions here.
Misery fanbase - It's fucking brilliant! 11/10!
FP Stalker Thread - Average.
And just for me it's a waste of time. Already spoiled myself with better/insane/russian mods.
Never played it, but I probably wont until there's a couple patches out.
Would anyone here be kind enough to link me to the newest version of People Soup please?

May the Monolith guide you on your quest.

Training your back and legs do wonders.
Anyone have the so called "bullshit remover" patch for MISERY? and does it work with 2.01?
Has anyone here ever used Absolute Nature 3 with Particle Paradise 3?
They both have a shaders.xr file (even AN3 Lite), though I'm note sure what Absolute Nature needs it for.
Any tips, LoNer1?

Do you understand that 100kg is 220lbs? You couldn't run around with 220lbs on your person, ever. You probably couldn't even walk around for more than a minute even if you were trained to do it.
But this is Russian wizard game so nothing actually had to make any sort of sense.

The Shaders.xr is used to define the specific shader and texture each material type uses. AN makes good use of this by giving most materials different textures, other than duplicates, making for more variation in both ground as vegetation textures.
But, the shaders.xr is also used to define the engine's shaders with (obviously) and PPx adds some new ones in for both the particles as other nifty tricks (moving artefact textures without tex-duplicates (sequenced textures aka more RAM load) through shaders is one of them) making RAM usage better optimised. It's as simple as adding in just a wave to both the X and Y axis of the texture and then define the speed.
Technical stuff aside, the current version is NOT A.N. compatible, only AF3 compatible. I'll add it to my to-do list :)
Gotcha, thanks.
So how is MISERY 2.0?
The mechanics are pretty fun in my opinion. Though it is a bit skewed, inflation makes things incredibly expensive when you wouldn't think they'd be.
And there is a fair bit of noticeable artificial difficulty. Though I hear rumor of a patch that fixes things like that. Haven't found it though.
[editline]14th August 2013[/editline]
Also, lots of item and weapon diversity, depending on your tastes, it could either be seen as great, or bloated.
[editline]14th August 2013[/editline]
Ain't got shit on Complete though. But that's like saying Hungry Howie's ain't got shit on genuine Naples pizza.
I like the game mechanics in misery, the gun repair, lots of items and guns and stuff. But the blaance is waaaayyy off. a loaf of bread costs more than ammo and repair kits can only be used once to repair your gun/armor only 3-8%. to repair a slightly broken gun costs about 10-15 grand. etc
honestly i liked redux better if you want the such is life in the zone simulator
I follow this belief -
Redux has less content, but it is much more polished.
Misery has more content, but its a lot less polished and a lot more unbalanced
[editline]15th August 2013[/editline]
complete is obv the best anyway
