;41856262']SVD suffers from accuracy problems and Vintorez is terrible beyond medium range because of it's heavy caliber. Don't bring those things to a sniper conversation. You obviously have never held pure, unadulterated, solid accuracy in your hands that is the TRG.
Never wasted a single round with these girls. And you should stop using weapons with obviously op stats. I still remember your jerking around with 6K+ Dumm Dumm ammo and turned off dynamic anomalies in SGM.
so, does the unofficial "unfucked" patch for misery have issues with the 2.0.1 misery patch? which should I use? Misery 2.0 with the unfucked patch, or misery updated to 2.0.1?
Play 2.0.1 without the unfuck patch.
2.0.1 for misery crashes more than drunk drivers for me
2.0.1 for misery crashes more than drunk drivers for me
Weird, other than the bugged weapons/weapon upgrades, I've had almost no crashes. Speaking of, to the fellow OGSE-patrons, does it normally crash out after an hour due to xrRender_R2.dll for you guys?
after starting playing as the assault class i have finally decided whether or not i like misery [sp]it's awesome[/sp]
I really dislike misery's class system. It just limits your playstyle.
I really dislike misery's class system. It just limits your playstyle.
Does it? It doesn't exactly prevent you from using other weapon-types. Besides, by this point in Stalkin', little limitations and challenges spice up the gameplay. On a technical level, I love it too, nice use of file-switching. It's something unique overall and one of the strengths of Misery. It's that dichotomy that kind of bothers me about Misery, it has so many well-made features and then they get coupled to some odd design choices. The joy of X-Ray at least is that it's all configs, LUA and XML to change things.

I don't experience any crashed at all with it for some reason, but ymmv.

As a sniper I suck using the avalanche while awesome using the vintar bc (or whatever they are called in misery). In reality the guns are very similar. Instead of limiting weapons by types the devs should add perks to each class that encourage certain play styles. For example, the sniper should decrease weapon sway on all weapons. The assault class should have a faster reload speed while recon should make less noise overall or takes the least time to look down sights. The possibilities are endless. I don't know why the devs even chose Oh snipers? You are good. Oh SMGs? No way.
I just went back to redux after getting sick if misery. It's friggin awesome, I missed it.
I just went back to redux after getting sick if misery. It's friggin awesome, I missed it.
I wish I have CoP so that I can play SGM and Redux once again :(
I just went back to redux after getting sick if misery. It's friggin awesome, I missed it.
redux 4 lyfe
so uh, why does misery crash my game every 10 steps? the only things I installed is the misery 2.0 and 2.01 patch [sp] also an item spawn mod for reasons but that shouldnt do anything[/sp]
so uh, why does misery crash my game every 10 steps? the only things I installed is the misery 2.0 and 2.01 patch [sp] also an item spawn mod for reasons but that shouldnt do anything[/sp]
Depending on how that mod is implemented, it may well crash things. Did it ask you if you want to overwrite things? that's a sure sign manual file merging is needed (which is a gigantic pain in the arse with scripts)
Ftfy. Also, why are you saying an assault rifle is superior to a sniper rifle? They're like totally different guns.
Not as different as you would think. Physically yes but when you pick it up, that feeling you get is very similar.

I want to try out stalkersoup but before I do can anybody tell me some of the important/interesting features of it?
I want to try out stalkersoup but before I do can anybody tell me some of the important/interesting features of it?
fetch quests
Not as different as you would think. Physically yes but when you pick it up, that feeling you get is very similar.
Well, aren't they basically made of interchangeable parts and similar components entirely? I assumed that was the entire point.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/0VSJBi6.jpg[/T] MAXIMUM ACCURACY This is from using the OSLM + Shadows mod posted yesterday with Steam version of SoC, by the way. I don't know if it's just version incompatibility or if the configs are just that screwed up.
Are Monolith in Stalkersoup supposed to take an entire clip in their face before dying? Because the Brain Scorcher is a real pain. EDIT: And now they are immortal, great.
I want to try out stalkersoup but before I do can anybody tell me some of the important/interesting features of it?
It will crash a lot. Though it also has tons and tons and tons of things. Countless weapons, unnecessary items, terrible translations, you name it.
I got stalkersoup working, went to the cordon and got the quest to kill the boar lair. I get back to the cordon, and helicopters are swarming it. Then they drop two teams of spetznaz on either side of the rookie village who proceed to murder everyone but wolf and nimble, who fight back. It took me at least 10 loads to secure a weapon and kill them. Got a lot of rubles and weapons out of it though.
Back home! Ordered STALKER pants. No regrets. Final destination.
Pics of said pants please.
will do stalker pants + t-shirt combo pic when the pants arrive
Back home! Ordered STALKER pants. No regrets. Final destination.
Pants as in under-crackers or Pants as in Trousers.
troosers [editline]16th August 2013[/editline] stalker pants would be fun though
"I said come in, don't stand there" being wrote on them would be hilarious.
