"I said come in, don't stand there" being wrote on them would be hilarious.
Especially from behind.
Why is it in misery that I cant take a single 5.56 bullet, yet the enemy takes 3 7.62 bullets before not even dying, but just dropping and becoming injured? I have med leather armor, the enemy has med leather armor.
Artificial difficulty and bullshit by the sounds of it.

I've not touched Misery yet but i'm split from peoples opinions on here. On one hand it looks like a challenge where you have to think and plan before doing anything, but on the other hand I hear shit like that above and it infuriates me.

Vanilla Call of Pripyat is easy at the start and really, really easy at the end. Most mods that claim to improve the balance just increase the "difficulty" by a large yet universal amount. This results in an excruciating start to the game, crossing into tedium at some points, in exchange for what the mod developers hope is proper balance by the time you reach the midpoint of the game. Too bad it almost never works that way.

I can easily say that it's probably the one of the better mods for CoP than any others I've seen/heard about, despite not playing it or other mods. (SGM is the shit though)
Just got the documents in the lab as I'm walking up the stairs to get the fuck out my game crashes. Yeah I'm going back in.
Couldn't wait for Redux 2 or the new OGSE or Lost Alpha and I really wanted the Stalker experience again. Downloaded TFW and got Teh Zip Files Total Reloaded Warfare, spawn in the tower in the bloodsucker village, its a stormy and windy night. Completely immersed.... Go down the ladder, fall off trying to reach one of the ledges, hit the ground, hear a bloodsucker, die, reload save and crash instantly.......(and continues to do so everytime I reload a save) Well I did ask for the Stalker experience, didn't think I'd get it all at once though. I think ill try SGM for now.

It's my mod for TFW to make the ballistics not awful.
It's my mod for TFW to make the ballistics not awful.
Interesting, has there been any actual progress on TFW or is it still 3.8 beta?
Well I just had my first crash on soup about 60 minutes in. Also why does my radiation keep going up slowly? I don't have any artifacts equipped so that can't be it can it?
Just started my first COP redux run and I gotta say it is very very well made. It seems to be a direct vanilla upgrade if you are looking for difficulty. My only annoyance is the miniscule weight limit. I already can't wait for redux 2.
Miniscule weight limit? I personally think it's reasonable.
It's fine for missions it just suck for looting and forces multiple runs back to the base.
I swear the pseudodogs are getting smarter. I was in Rostok hanging out in the rain with some other stalker when I heard a dog whimpering. I went to check it out. When I was out of sight of my buddy I heard another whimper and suddenly a pseudodog pounces on me from behind and takes a nice chunk of my ass. Scared the shit out of me. Fucking dogs.

so i experienced a crash in misery when I tried to speak to a hurt friendly stalker who was bleeding out on the ground. reloaded the save and it happened again. Is this common?
It's my mod for TFW to make the ballistics not awful.
Link? I've not been able to find it in my mod archive.
That TRW mod by Zip is amazing. I managed to raid the Mercenary compound and infiltrate the bunker to get the god damn briefcase because my AKS/74U allowed me to be quite deadly. However the respawn times for the mercs was too damn fast so they spawned a new group and I got slaughtered by a seemingly endless horde of mercenaries flooding into the bunker.

Glad you're enjoying it :) The weight limit is intended to be restricting to force careful thought about what you really need to take with you on a raid. In v2.0, totally revamped and new stashes (stash boxes) will mean you can begin to lay stashes of your own around the Zone to ensure you always have spare supplies somewhere nearby!

Also, patch incoming. Speaking to wounded was our biggest bug as of yet, but ... info incoming!
weather changing after reload is an unavoidable bug with atmosfear afaik
weather changing after reload is an unavoidable bug with atmosfear afaik
It was also in all the 3 vanilla games iirc, espcially noticeable in SHoC
Are Monolith in Stalkersoup supposed to take an entire clip in their face before dying? Because the Brain Scorcher is a real pain. EDIT: And now they are immortal, great.
Does anyone know if there is some kind of fix for this?

oh no I was just posting weather because it was nice and I screenshots Though I know there is the weather change on reload thing
It's my mod for TFW to make the ballistics not awful.
Woah man, you're modding a mod?
