I was just wondering as I'm intrigued to how the AI would behave long term. I'd imagine if they've REMOVED all infoportions and such then all the smart terrains should be free for all AI due to no Infoportion blocks.

Changed the recoil and accuracy of all the weapons (Because it was horrible before), changed the vikhr's name/description/sound, made medkits and bandges heal more bleeding [I]again[/I], and made the UMP45 not sound like a popgun.

Kinda? It improves the weapon ballistics because TFW just uses the vanilla CS ones, adds new gun sounds, add real gun names, makes the AI see farther, makes bandages more effective, ect.
You know Zip, I've been playing your mod for a while and I have to confess something. Long range guns are near impossible to utilize. And by long range I mean sniper rifles that can shoot medium range because absolutely nothing in Clear Sky shoots long range because bushes block your FoV.
I'm currently running my dear and sexy TRG snipu raifu and the fact of the matter is that the bullet starts dropping after a meager ~50 meters. With a Vintorez I can comprehend this going on at long range because it's heavy, but on any other round it's ridiculous. LR-300 is still a bullet hose, every assault rifle only works as a CQC weapon, shotguns are overpowered and snipers feel sad and useless.
The only good thing going for my trusty bolt-action is that it kills absolutely anyone in one headshot. It makes me aim accurately like a true Finnish marksman, but it's still funny that most of the time a body shot takes away roughly half of their health, despite being hit with a fucking .308 that tears a new one for you.

Truthfully I'm fairly certain there's not actually a bloodsucker, it's just the sound effects. I've screwed around the tower for a few minutes and nothing ever happened to me. It's a really nice way to get you to move your ass, though.

You gotta admit, whoever did the "marketing" for Misery did a really fucking good job on that shit. I'll always prefer content over balance and realism any day, so it's shit like this, SGM, OGSE, and TFW that I can definitely approve of.
So, what's wrong with saying some shit's good if it's comparable to something I already know is great?

You can't be sure till you taste it yourself.

Honestly, about MISERY, I don't hate/dislike/whatever the dev team, I just hate and despise the stupid fanbase for making people think MISERY is a lot better than it really is

PR and marketing is important, but the sheer number of promotional piece you put out, combined with several delays (which are par for the course with pretty much any mod), made it seem like the Misery team was focusing on advertising at the expense of actually finishing the mod.

Yeah, I've told some people who noticed this and sent me PM's on moddb already, we can't control the fanbase :v: It's their decision to hype it up this crazily. It indeed helps when the team itself hypes the mod up a bit, but I never knew it'd pack out like this.

Yeah, this one's come across a dozen times. People even called the team lazy, incompetent etc. While we always, till this very moment, have worked on the mod and still are working on it. Over 2k messages in the CTD's and bugs section in our private forums. You wouldn't dare to guess the time spent on this mod by some key people, like Troj, Nic, I, twist and many others. Hence my frustration and aggressive behaviour towards people who claim to know the team better than someone like me.
I do like Nic's fancy spiced up images more than in-game screens as the images provide more info than a screenshot and constantly dumping vids also isn't perfect justification of a feature (like progressive AI, this cant be shown in a video because I'd have to be half an hour long or so)
Played misery some more, and again I had a pretty awesome time. While in the context of individual encounters the artifical difficulty can be a real pain in the ass, in the long run it is worth it. I have reloaded some savepoints many, many times because I fucked up a situation and got myself killed. Finally got a new gun and a respirator after taking out some chiki-breekis at the gas station, and taking all of the steel case loot for myself. Snorks aint shit.
Then I went to the strange anomaly barge and wrecked all of the stalkers there, I used up my only grenade though.
Oh btw, the supressor for 7.62x54 weapons doesnt work for the Kar98k, but the description says it should.
Well i finished stalkersoup on marked one, as well as SGM on the highest one as well. Any good mods that are out there that are pretty good?
Also, i finished both misery and redux as well.
