He's tweaking weather and mainly waiting for newer version of dynamic shader from Meltac (another Russian Wizard?) so he can add AA and SunShafts.

I'm pretty sure Meltacs shaders are a continuation on from mine. If you expect more features you should probably use his however I am not sure what the performance difference is.

I mean he hasn't been online in MODDB since march, and that message was in february. That makes it almost half year of no activity. It sure looks dead for now...
Oh, and Meltac isn't Russian Wizard lol, he's from Switzerland if I'm not mistaken.

I take full responsibility for this, I handled all the configs and balancing for 1.1.
tl;dr I set all the weapon recoil configs up to be RO2 style without noticing a bug that would make recoil progressively more powerful over time. It's fixed for 1.2 though.

Ill ask Troj, as he's prolly the most experienced with explaining this. This isn't simple scripting we're talking about IIRC :v: Ill reply in a bit, watching the (inb4 rage) BF4 stream
replacing .xml files with my own text is probably the only thing I can do in STALKER that is out of game editing~ I need a tutorial on the SDK level editor, it isn't as simple as Hammer is.

I haven't even gone through conscription yet and I handled an RK-76 easily. The kick was nothing, really. I admit it was semiautomatic because Finnish gun laws but still, it's very similar to RK-95 and it was an easily mitigated reaction.
Tho Panzer already explained why the recoil was derpy so :v: kinda moot to contribute to this discussion anymore, oh well.
What was the bug, anyway?

I don't have a save about it since it happened on probably my second or third playthrough ever of Shadow of Chernobyl, I think I was using Complete or AMK. I found Wolf dead in Red Forest, surrounded by randomly generated Monolithians all around him laying dead. Must've been at least 8 of them.
I wondered how the fuck he ended up there.
Doesn't beat Wolf committing suicide in the fire at Army Warehouses, of which that angle of his story I believe was never explained.
Vanilla, so he doesn't walk about anywhere or anything, just sits there until he ends up in the bin.

Ok so it's just regular ragdoll. Still I like how the ragdoll doesn't just collapse onto itself like other games
I believe they just toned down the ragdoll forces, hence why if you shoot someone they don't tend to fly around.
