S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: The Zone will stop the Russians - Games

After failing to install Stalkersoup, I went on to try OGSE. I deleted a couple of files related (and possibly not) related to Stalkersoup. I just installed OGSE and when I went to launch SoC, a little Steam box said "Failed to start game (missing executable)." Help me, please?

Oh god, misery fucking pissed me off for the last time. "Hey, you just killed 2 pseudogiants? That's fine and all. Save. Oh, you stepped in to an anomoly and died instatly? Well, good thing you saved beforehand. woops, the save now crashes". I would give if it crashed like only 2 times. But damn, 10 and counting.

Playing Doom's SHOC merge and grenades were really weak so i tweaked them a bit This is done by one grenade in the room, realistic right? [img]http://i.imgur.com/b4t18Pc.jpg[/img]

I guess so. The explosive force and shrapnel would clear out a room that size with ease.

Much like what kept happening to me in AMK, throw a grenade, be 50 feet away, die from it anyways.

I'm currently doing an Shoc OGSE challenge, only using the double barreled shotgun. It's quite a challenge but really satisfying. Thus far I have reached the Bar, although getting the documents and escaping to the bar was really hard. I ran out of ammo and had to knife several mutants. Also then 3 burers appeared from the Wild Territory into Rostock, Duty and I killed two burers and I knifed the last one. A lot of Duty are dead. Well fuck, Misery is just plain out impossible. I mean, a headshot from a mosin nagant 1891 from 10m away can't kill a stupid bandit wearing a leather jacket. What the fuck man? On the other hand, I just love all those extra items, descriptions, mod quality etc etc.

Back in the day I used to play AMK and only AMK, it was the only way for me, is there a way to add Freeplay mod to AMK Sid Edition?

I'd feel more inclined to play/buy S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if they'd go on fucking sale
