I've just noticed how hilariously serious that guy on the accordion looks.
He's seen some shit.
Did this whole meme pass you by? [sp]Consider yourself lucky.[/sp] [editline]4th September 2013[/editline] At least, I assume they are intimately linked.
Not the same song haha. I'm serbian so just wondering where did he get a random serbian old song.
[t]http://puu.sh/4iZdi.jpg[/t] So the Tower Pack is kinda shit. Portal 2, anyone?
Is it normal if ZoA crashes on me when I try clicking on some rifle.
Araknid, do you know what song this is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB7bi12VStw It's actually a serbian song, where the hell did you get it?
Let me relieve you of your doubt comrade.
So while playing AMK, This guy flew in from the other end of the map, crashed straight into this pipe and began spazzing.
He's seen some shit.
reduced from a 5mb file
You could turn that into a portrait for the military in stalker.
Does anyone have a .gif of a Dutier wearing the PSZ-9D heavy armour and the helmet that comes along with it, Sphere-M12 I think, doing his idle animation with his hands behind his back?
Shoker is at it again
what the fuck trojanuch? Did they also forgot to adjust artifacts prices? I mean, a personal container is worth near 1100, yet a Sparkler artifact is worth....1400? Wtf.
Is it normal if ZoA crashes on me when I try clicking on some rifle.
I figured out that you need a "patch #3" that I couldn't find anywhere, everywhere pointed to a missing link on the ModDB website, however a new patch came out today that includes all the previous hotfixes. http://www.moddb.com/mods/zone-of-alienation-mod/downloads/zoa-1071-alpha-version-9-build-no-2517
Dat G36 Oh baby.
You know what's fun in OGSE? Getting the drop on some bandits and the mac-10 you founded earlier explode in your face.
Looks like Lost Alpha won't be coming out any time soon. http://www.gameru.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=39807&st=10280&p=1376690&#entry1376690 I've stolen the tranlation from the LA ModDB page as Google translate make a total fuck-up of it.
LA won't be finished this year most likely, too few guys working at the project at a time, engine/scripts still riddled with problems, renders are far from done, many differences of opinions and ideas among the team and also loss of motivation. Cutting of content is most likely a necessity due to huge amount of work still needed to be done.
Good fucking God, waiting for this mod is never ending.
Fuck
It's not a mod anymore and they've got to live up to the standards of GSC for them to release LA as a stand-alone game. You know, the gimmicky tooltips everywhere, often unsteady progressional AI system, faulty economy etc. It all has to be in there for it to be part of the STALKER franchise and the necessary bugs ofc. just for nostalgic reasons :v: [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] ------------------------ MISERY v2.0.2 SAVE CORRUPTION QUICK FIX ------------------------ Author: Yastiandrie Special and great thx to: Real Wolf, Chorbit & practik Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/cyug6nmhcgfz4nc/MISERY_2.0.2_save_corruption_qf.rar -------------------------- WHAT IT DOES? -------------------------- This fixes the most common instance of save corruptions which occured mostly later in-game. In most cases such corruptions mentioned: MSVCR80.dll in log. This very severe and frustrating problem was caused by a single script file which has now been fixed, thanks to the awesome work of Yastiandrie who delivered the final solution. However the fix would not have been possible if it wasn't for great assistance and tremendous effort from 'eastern' modding masters who did in-depth research to find the true nature of the issue. This is some of the best scene collaboration we have ever seen and we are proud that Misery is the project able to ignite such mutual effort. The fix provided in the package is very simple 'patch-work' (but very effective one) and a more elaborate solution is going to be added in next 'large' patch. -------------------------- ATTENTION! -------------------------- The fix does not work for already corrupted saves - however it should prevent any new saves getting corrupted after 'last working one' is loaded. Althou we were unable to reproduce save corruption internally (even on saves which always got corrupted without the fix) - there still might be instances of such issues present, caused by different reasons. Please report each and every such case and provide log and last working save - as always its going to be of great help to continous stability-improving effort conducted by team and our great community. Thank you all! -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: -------------------------- 1. Copy contents of the package into the main CoP intallation directory with Misery v2.0.2 (+QF) installed 2. Overwrite the files when it asks for it NEW GAME IS NOT REQUIRED! --------------------------
Alright, so now that I've finished my mandatory vanilla run-through of SHoC, which big mod should I first try? I want something that's gonna run me into the ground, something I'll likely remember for years to come.
something I'll likely remember for years to come.
people soup [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] if you want something you'll remember forever, definitely people fucking soup
Hey, wasn't there an official quest contest for one of the STALKER games? What was the quest that was added in as a result of that contest and which game?
It was for STALKER 2. For S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC they had a contest of designing a monster and the winner of that was the snork mutant
Alright, so now that I've finished my mandatory vanilla run-through of SHoC, which big mod should I first try? I want something that's gonna run me into the ground, something I'll likely remember for years to come.
ZoA is probably one of the most unique/hard mods for SoC, but if you want something with better graphics or way more polished in general, then I'd go for LURK 1.05 or 1.1. If you want to try some mod with new storyline/locations, RMA or Secret Trails 2. Beware, though, both RMA, Secret Trails and ZoA are like mostly translated Russian stuff. Has the copypasta from the STALKER general on /vg/ been posted here recently? Maybe we could steal some of it for the next OP or just slap it on there if the OP is still around. [editline]when[/editline] In fact, people on the thread have stated that they might totally rewrite the thing soon, so maybe I could help out with that before we consider posting it here. [editline]when[/editline] What's so funny about this? Look at the copypasta and you'd see it a lot of useful information.
Smearing Vaseline over your eyes does not constitute better graphics
I think vaseline is the wrong term used in here, and you should know why. You're a shader editor, I'm a texture artist. We know that it's applying make-up to the game, rather than 'vaseline' which tends to in most cases either give a protective layer on top of the skin or shield it from other stuff. ZRP is vaseline. So, For a smooth playthrough you apply vaseline, not make-up

Did I just derail the thread by a joke? :v: whoops (the disagree was kinda meant in the way of someone being able to easily edit the values, to my understandings)
