Yeah, that's the reason why everything feels like that.
Doom's mod merge is one of my fav mods except for the fact that the weather cycle repeats itself every 24 hours. That and the fact the firefights feel very easy compared to ZoA and the economy iirc being kinda cheap.
Yeh as a bandit, i exited the base killed 3 stalkers, sold their guns and had 80k to spend haha, also not exactly much to do, except a quest or 2 your boss gives you
I remember tagging along with this 1 stalker dude for a very long time.
We went through garbage, agroprom and cordon, dark valley and such until he eventually got stuck in some endless loop in cordon.

You can take the Bar. I know it works as Monolith, but I'm pretty sure that if you eliminate all of the Bar's living occupants - the actual bar area and Duty's little side area excluded - your faction will move in.

By 'move in' I mean they'll just have be there and not have merchants or anything neat like that.
The bar with nothing but bandits would be great.
Holy fuck this CoP SDK is a pain in the ass.
Once you've spent countless hours learning her every quirk you'll love her like the abusive girlfriend you always wanted :)
What do STALKER SDK's even do exactly.
Map editing or file editing?
Or gay?
Dragging the military back up to Cordon was a very very bad idea in ZoA.
Sometimes you will equip a mag and go to your 5th slot and nothing will happen, then you try to equip another mag it just sits in your 'attach to belt' slot and you can't do anything with it, I have found this to be a quite frequent bug unfortunately. Maybe I'm just stupid and don't fully understand the mechanics, but it's quite hard to find documentation on ZoA.
I have found out this occurs a lot if you have your binoculars out when you try to attach a magazine to your belt.

It mainly crashes your computer after 3 hours of compiling.

Hmm... maybe I need to get into modding CoP...

To clarify, it's like having an abusive girlfriend while being gay.

Who's also on steroids :v:
It's like a Russian hooker with STD's and blue waffle.

Xray SDK is the kitchen sink.
Are there any mods you guys would recommend merging into SGM?
That's really thin ice you're about to step on, stalker.
It's not really thin it's just malnourished.
>:(
Whatefuck? 4 exo bandits throwing grenades nonstop at my position. Can't even run as they seem to have homing grenades.
Welcome to Clear Sky.
Where the forecast is anything but

The problem being this is Call of pripyat with MISERY.
EDIT: Does anybody knows in-depth how the armor system in Misery works? I mean, there's the blunt damage and the piercing one. But it's not so clear/very well explained. Sometimes coat bandits will fall to a 1911 after being shot 4-5 times (with DU rounds) whereas a Bulat/standard outfit merc will fall after being shot 2 times.

All of the features were explained in their respective images in the images section. I always advice the new MISERY players to download those images and keep them on your HDD for reference, so you are able to read back what we meant you to use the features like etc. After a while you wont need them anymore and it will all become easier for you.
It's the same what I did and I haven't left Zaton yet, already grinding 110k
I need some help regarding recruiting Strider to the Pripyat squad:
I've done all missions neutrally and achieved 'A Man of Balance', so I'm not friends with Freedom or Duty.
Is there anyway to befriend one of these two factions in order to recruit the monolith?

The SDK has multiple editors, such as Level Editor, Actor Editor, Shader Editor etc.
These mainly what they say on the tin, so the LE will let you alter the levels of the games and make new ones. It's not a simple WYSIWYG editor like CryEngine or even Source SDK though, a lot of the work is actually done in text files, and there's a lot of compiling you need to do before you can see in-game the stuff you make in the editor.
That said, I love the LE <3

I love all the editors. I finally got around being used to using them all :v: Took a good chunk of my time though, damn.

Which one do you mean? If you're thinking about PPx2 ... Yeah, check the mainpage of the new version. It indeed was a clusterfuck of everything I learned, wanted to try out, added and merged from other mods. A particle.xr that's almost 4mb's big isn't good for the engine :v:
Yeah, Loner is back and rocking again! :) You said that particles will be better optimized? Well, these looks very nice. By the way, do you still keeping old builds? I remember back in a days you got some sick fog particles. And those little candle like things... I didn't reckon that you released those... Or i'm just blind? :"
Me:
Back and smarter than ever. PPx2 really was just a "test" for my skills. Like ... a tech demo. The particles in 2.2 will indeed be heavily optimised. Most particles for artefacts in PPx2 exceeded over 200-300 particles, a piece. These are roughly 50 at max, still with stunning in-game visuals!
And yes, I did release it but then took the download down. Wanted to have a fresh start :) And I still have them, no worries. But I'm rebuilding PPx from scratch, following 2.1.1.9 closely, though. Some particles will make returns and I will also introduce new features, which are to be announced!
Last thing, though. Realism is my aim, this time. Not making stuff ultra pretty at the cost of both performance and freedom in hardware, but I will try and optimise it in the way of making the zone more dynamic. I already did this with the shells. Ill show a vid soon!
I agree. While I don't agree with some of the choices the Misery dev team made in 2.0, they do explain it so you can't really go walking in obliviously.
[sp]explaining could be enhanced by cropping the item descriptions going off the screen fyi[/sp]
I had a rather wierd dream.
I was in redux, in skadovsk, everything seemed rather normal until I saw a woman sitting on the table, she seemed stalkery enough so I let that pass, but when I went to beard, there was a line there, some dude was selling stuff to beard, who was A FUCKING WOMAN, and not just any woman, she was wearing an 1800's style dress, and so was another woman who was 2nd in line to beard, I went in line and waited until 2 other women came from downstairs both in 1800's style dresses like they were going to a dance or something. I finally got to Beard(less) and started selling something.
I sold 4 red meat sticks with rather unique descriptions. "Useful for local penetration" I remember clearly thinking to myself "I'm gonna keep 1 for further examination"
