I used to love ultra-realism and get annoyed by small unrealistic things when I was younger, but then I realized I'd just rather have stuff that's fun and cool over realistic. I couldn't care less if somebody makes a SPAS-12 that isn't semi-auto, I actually prefer to pump it if there is a cool sound and animation for it.

What I'm talking about is a gauss gun that fires rpg's at 1000m/s and grenades that create nukes, anomalies with weird effects and AI / NPC's with the same weapons etc. :v: Total. All. Out. Retardness that's what I'm talking about lol

I've got no problem with people making their mods look how they want them to look (otherwise I would be an idiot), but calling it "Autumn Aurora 2" seems to display a fundamental misunderstanding of Autumn (and hell, auroras). Was the first one this bleak?
Honestly, I'm pretty tired of graphical mods . I can't even play stalker without game changing mods anymore. we need more people soup like mods
Honestly, I'm pretty tired of graphical mods . You gotta love mods that unique, and you really can't find anything that even scratches those two.
Soup will turn your head to soup.
Soup will turn your head to soup.
I wonder why they decided to use Solyanka to represent the soup in the original Russian version of NS... maybe borscht didn't have quite the same ring when you said it out loud :v: edit: I suppose Narodnaya Botvinya would have been ok.

Is it normal for the Military to shoot me on sight in SOC? A lot of dudes I talked to in the cordon were saying I can pay the soldiers to pass through if I don't want to brave the electric tunnel but the instant they see me approaching they start to unload on me.
I don't know, I've never actually used the electric tunnel or talked to them I always either shoot them or go around the place on the right side in some mods
Is it normal for the Military to shoot me on sight in SOC? But sometimes it may so happen that if you try to kill that small patrol of three military near the encampment of soldiers on the other side of cordon (where you pinch the document case for Sid in a later mission), or if they attack you for coming too close and you fight back, then you're likely to be shot if you approach that barricade. Otherwise it could be a 'feature' (read: bug) edit: also note that if you bypass the barricade even once, instead of paying them to go through, and they spot you at any time after that, you'll be shot as a matter of course.
Is it normal for the Military to shoot me on sight in SOC?.
If you're talking about the bridge guards, no. There's a third way across the bridge and that's following the track on the other side from the tunnel and eventually you'll hit a gap in the fence. The area is irradiated and there are gravitational anomalies scattered around but it's a good alternative to battling yourself through the soldiers or trying to get through the electric tunnel.
In reaction to the brown theme of all the other mods, have some Particle Paradise 2.2 [t]http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/366/365208/ss_kevin_09-15-13_19-38-37_l01_escape.jpg[/t][t]http://media.moddb.com/images/members/1/366/365208/ss_kevin_09-15-13_19-40-06_l01_escape.jpg[/t] [B]Horrible JPG quality ftw. Why is the steam version of Call of Pripyat so retarded? It keeps deadlocking in the processes and never starts. First time the issue was with raptr so I got rid of that, now it's doing it again and was working earlier and I really don't know what is up. I have steam ingame off, I don't have any properties laid out for launch. What could be causing it to not start?
If you have Xfire, exit that.
Who still uses Xfire?
Who still uses Xfire?
apparently a lot of people still do they have their own digital store, so some use it as an alternative to steam.
Hm.. I'll give that a try then. I keep it up to chat with people, but I've had call of pripyat never detect on there so no sense in using it.
Who still uses Xfire?
I do The only reason is because I have one friend who still uses it, except we play a lot of coop games so I end up using it a lot.
From my experience of launching CoP through Steam literally thousands and thousands of times, about 1/3 of the time the process never launches properly and you have to manually kill it through task manager.
