Yeah but i'm looking for actual difficulty, not a challenge. I could do a Nuzlocke run on a Pokemon game (of which, i have two going) but that doesn't make the game harder, it's just a temporary challenge and only meets some of what i said. I dunno, maybe there isn't a mod like that.

As of currently there are not really any mods for Shadow of Chernobyl that make ammunition scarce or the economy tough but you might want to take a look of Zone of Alienation since it at least makes the gameplay relatively tough and adds a magazine system that adds a relatively interesting dynamic to the firefights. I wouldn't say it's that recommendable to download it right now since apparently the latest version is quite unstable but I would say it's a mod worth keeping an eye on since as of current it's one of the premier higher-difficulty mods that isn't a bloated russian monstrosity.

Yes, dangerous, which is why I wanna clean it up and out. So that way I don't end up getting bloody lungs or a metallic lined throat.

Best way to fix this is to delete main config file, then run the game and set up all config from scratch. Path to config file you can see in Mod Configurator at tab "Advanced Graphics Settings". After you set up the game, check the lighting in game. If you still found it too dark, check SSAO config in SkyGraphics settings. Try first to turn off "Increase Contrast", then, if image is still too dark - you can try to turn off SSAO completely. I hope it works

OGSE is really good, they add a lot to it. It's kinda like SGM for SoC

It was a permissions issue, but it never exactly 'said' that. I never had the issue with steam, but I installed it on my retail copy so I could play that without much hassle. P.S. asbestos (chinese filters 75-92) is inert unless cut into. for the most part the GP-5 is a multi stage activated charcoal filter, replacing the AC will improve it widely. also as a question you didnt use this with any dangerous chemicals? just gotta know the extra precautions are key.

I'm having some issues with Clear Sky. I've practically got a computer that can max it out, but I can't run it in DX10 mode or my game will crash at the menu. Call of Pripyat crashes if I try to run it in DX 10 too - it runs fine in DX 11, but I get this odd visual artifact on corners of my screen. I thought it was dust on my screen at first; it looks like fuzzy stuff on my weapons mostly (and NPC models). For reference, my OS is Win 7 64 bit, and my GPU is a 7850 with the latest drivers.

Why hello there guys. What's the trending mod for CoP right now? Any new fresh exiting mod of the month?

We seem to be going through a quite phase at the moment. There's a fair amount of promising work going on, judging by what we've seen from screenshots. L0ner's been doing a "best of" of various slightly more obscure mods, so check through his old posts and see if anything tickled your fancy.

General that it might be related to MS Update KB2670838 that supposedly breaks DX10/DX11 games. Might be worth looking into that.

Gloves should be no problem. What's an AC, and whatcha mean by dangerous chemicals? I got it last year and haven't touched it since, so I haven't cleaned it or really moved it around much at all.

Honestly, understanding how the filter works made me feel a lot safer about using it. I'm not going to bother gutting mine for just one night.
