Your university has a radio station? Oh America. One of the buildings at my university IS an old radio broadcasting centre yet we don't have a radio station.
How many of you guys have read Roadside Picnic? I started reading it a while back but never got to finishing it. Really awesome read though in my opinion.

Most medium-large public universities have stations due to laws passed way back to keep certain parts of the air-wave spectrum for public use, mostly universities and the such. Took a class on this shit, but most people don't really bother to hear the details. As for why your university lacks them, I'm going to assume that despite the fact Australia is far more of a welfare state than the U.S. and Parliament likely passed even stricter laws against private interests from taking spots on the radio spectrum, you guys or your university lack either the funding or the bodies for them.
Hell if I know if my assumption about your situation is right, but it could be possible.

Clear Sky wouldn't run, so I uninstalled it and now my disc has magically disappeared.
CoP runs but crashes every 5 minutes
And SoC will only run vanilla. If I try to use any mods it won't launch, and then when I uninstall the mods it won't launch until I re-install (and it's on steam, so that takes 3 hours) :suicide:

In fact, Shadow of Chernobyl universe and characters takes a lot more inspiration from this book than tarkovski's movie.

It used to be controllers for me but I have more trouble with shit like pseudogiants. I hate starting a game of CoP to face a pseudogiant at Shevchenko when I only have a P99. I wouldn't exactly say it is scary; just more intense fighting them.
For me, probably snorks.
They're just so goddamn annoying, go leaping around in the dark attacking you and if you don't have a shotgun you're as good as dead unless you can afford to waste like 2 mags on them

yeah i'd have to go with the bloodsuckers as well, i just hate not being able to see them.
