Loner, you drove me from lurker to poster. If you'd be willing to take a request? Since the SDK is some sort of fuckery I dare not touch, Is it possible to port ShOC's story & such to Cop's version of the engine? That would make for several orders of awesome☺

It's very much [I]possible[/I] but it means porting over all the maps from SoC and re-implementing the quests and A-Life into the maps (which, as many modders will testify to, is not a simple task) so you won't see that many people jumping to the task.
There's a project that aims to convert SoC / CS maps for CoP as a resource for modders so yeah, a recreation of SoC in CoP engine is definitely within the realms of possibility.

But like everyone else said, it's not really doable on my own. If I'd have a solid team and loads of free time, I'd do it. The recommendation I will give you is the same as the rest, Lost Alpha.

It's a very nice model, though I notice the mechanism is a lot higher poly than the body.
My main concern is: what's it going to be used for? For a misc item it's pretty high poly - are people going do be able to appreciate the detail?
If you're putting it in the detector slot as a replacement for the wind-up torch, that'd be awesome, though.

Don't make passive-aggressive swipes at people, even if you do prove them wrong. Being gracious and forgiving is a far more effective strategy.
Once you get your first concept art, screenshots, implemented features, design docs, what have you, out the door, any dislike will fade away.

We recently added a (quite experienced) first person animator to the team. We hope to remove all the 'fade to black' gimmicky effects and replace them with proper, first person animations. The torch will be used for several things, so sit tight. You'll see ;)

Re-installed CoP again, and messed around with RELOADED.
Now, does the Global Illumination settings in the itx file have any impact on DX11 gameplay? I don't notice a difference.
What .itx tweaks do you guys use?

Yup. Can be sold as general junk shells. Or you can talk to a trader and get them to be reused. (For a price) And you can either have them to be refitted into cheap ammunition, that works, but doesn't work as reliably, and causes gun condition to lower faster, or get them refitted into high spec rounds which function as normal.

Fucking OGSE, man. They're making X-Ray 1.0 feel more advanced every day.
Once I get a lot more free time away from Freelance 3D Work and projects and the other stuff I'm delegated to for such a long time.
I plan to throw a lot more time into it, refining the scripts and working out bugs and optimizing it and so forth. But yes. Once I finally am able to finish it all, or at-least get a very stable basis for it all done. I'll release it for people do to with it, whatever they please.
