[/QUOTE] You can grab a 6P9 in the trailer near the start of the game. From there, there are a few unique weapons with integrated silencers sprinkled about the areas before the bar. Once you get to the warehouses, of course, getting a VSS or VAL is easy enough.

In my thinking, since silencers reduce the stats of the guns they're on, it's basically a handicap for everything except stealth-based gameplay, and STALKER's stealth mechanics aren't the best, so it'd still be challenging even if you try to avoid confrontation. Explosives might be even harder because they're harder to come by early on, and they're not direct or silent. You could try both though; might be an interesting combo. (Or it might make it too easy.)

That would make it more viable and unfortunately easier.

The bolt used to be damaging in the earlier builds though. And in CoP SMRTR-mod which replaces the bolt with throwing knives. Its terrible range would be exactly why it'd be challenging.
I think silenced only would make for great entertainment, depending on the mod. Vanilla, the 6P9 is pretty darn terrible :v:

Best mod for clear sky that fixes bugs/improve graphics and most importantly adds content like guns and such? I was thinking of playing complete but it dosen't add content. its mainly a bug fixer right?
so, im nearly done getting UE4 access i think its finally the time i give a shot at doing some stalker ish experiment / prototype using stalker content as placeholder!
