Kinda relevant to this thread because I fucking love STALKER and made a really really goofy addon for Garry's Mod that lets you experience a STALKER bandit's life in there.

The random profanities being screamed happen when the player attacks either npcs or players, for additional funnies.

You gain VODKA by hurting NPCs and players.
You replenish health and get drunk by drinking VODKA.
When you're drunk, your movement is impaired, your view will become unstable and you will occasionally hiccup.
And the track you hear is looping at all times.

Mostly sounds fine but this in particular makes me want to raise a point. Engagement ranges in stalker (And other stuff) is much smaller than in real life, so try not to go overboard with realism and keep in mind this is a game. Dunno how it is right now, but I feel 1000-2000 rounds is too much, especially with increased lethality keeping the ammo usage lower, even for a soviet-pride AK.

I agree, but it simply can't be implemented in game without drastic changes to the games core. For example, how would NPC's calculate recoil? Making the weapons pinpoint accurate means that NPC's will be pinpoint accurate, because the effect of recoil only applies to the player

Stalker soup is hard but things are not a bullet sponge like misery. I just wanted to suggest everything a bullet sponge and other ideas for a mod to make you pissed off so you rip your entrails out or something.

Yeah, I don't know how this could be implemented in NPCs, but considering Alpha Squads have fucking pinpoint accuracy with both shootas and booms yet they are defeatable is kind of testament that even with the numbers in their favor, AI cannot best the player completely.

I would've kept going, but a combination of bullet sponges, unrealistically rare ammo and the general combat system made it a gigantic pain in the ass of saving and reloading, hoping that the 34th reload would lead to that 400m pistol bullet missing your head.

No weapon is absolutely accurate. There is just no making a 100% accurate gun. However, the gun spread could be reduced to a minimum and the recoil could play a higher emphasis. Gauss Rifle. For me it the only weapon with reasonable 100% aimed accuracy.

Good point, the Gauss Rifle could have absolute accuracy provided that it's taken care of.

Right now I'm trying to find out how to get NPCs to spawn with snipers, RPGs, RG-6s, and PKMs in MSO.
Why does the G36 look so plain greenish in STALKERSOUP and the scope is oval in shaped.
One of the military guy was invisible too.
