These two words will probably never go together. :v:

Nvidia 2200gt(or something like that) windows vista
It was 19 -30 fps on low if lucky
Why are the shotguns in stalkersoup so OP? They are better than rifles at damage and are just as accurate with buckshot.
Why are the shotguns in stalkersoup so OP? They are better than rifles at damage and are just as accurate with buckshot.
Because shotguns realistically behave like that in ShoC's map ranges. I mean at most you'll engage someone 50m away and that's perfectly within a full length barrel shotgun's effective range.
Which one? And vanilla or modded?
he did say first, and if i remember correctly he said a few pages ago he hadnt played a single stalker game yet
so i assume he's starting out with soc
Which one? And vanilla or modded?
I don't know the difference but I just got killed by lightning in a tunnel.

7300GT 256MB and 2GB RAM. I remember I installed Float32 at the time because I read it made the game run faster, it still ran pretty shit on my computer.
but one of the carcasses went trough the Kolkhoz brigadiers ear. Then he had to somehow fabricate a lie that it was not a bullet :v:
I'm really confused
As someone who's played through the STALKER games with most of the big-name mods; have any big mods come out/gotten majorly updated in the past ~6 or so months and are worth playing?
I want to go back; but not if I'm just going to load up a massive SOUP-style mod with bad English and get lost in the insanity. (It was great fun; but I don't want to exactly do that again.)
Drudging through Misery:
It comes time to check out Jupiter for all of its goodies and guess what's down there waiting for me? Psy-Suckers (aka Bloodsucking mind-rapists). GREAT.
Now I have to haul my sorry ass back to Yanov for some mines.
[sp]It's fantastic.[/sp]
Update: (Misery 2.0.X)
By the time I mustered the courage to buy a few RPG-mines and slipped back to the Rapist-Roadblock I found the corpse of 2 controllers in a bush and 3 elited Duty Commandos who were still pissed about losing their weapons warehouse.. After finally cornholing the last one I stop to repair my armor outside of the main Jupiter building, relishing my sudden streak of luck... Suddenly I start getting mind-raped through solid concrete.. I barrel outside and perform the usual ritual of smoking weed and swallowing pills and what do I find inside the fucking place? TWO BURERS AND TWO POLTERGEISTS.
FFFFFF[sp]UUUCKING SHIT[/sp]
Hey where's that game on Xray that has the amazing animations, there was a video showcasing it's cutscenes or something and they're in a winter setting then a guy throws on some gear and steps out of an APC/IFV?
I wanna see how it's coming along.
Frozen Zone
Burers in Soup, with their CoP like ability to disarm you are not very nice, especially how they make your screen turn red when they are near, makes hitting them somewhat challenging sometimes, especially when there is also blue fuzziness from poltergeists clouding up your vision too. On a side note, I FOUND ZONE LETTUCE.

Somehow I don't see how all this fit in there...

Always wondered what this blue goo is under X-16, though I'm not sure if I really want to know.

Check out this totally not OP artifact I made, isn't it adorable:

Also note the awesome Mini SVD. Wrecks Monolith from a range, very good to use in Radar. When I hit them at least.
Do a Let's Play of STALKER games please, I love your voice.

Oh wow. I have been having a really bad day and this made me smile too big, thank you SOOO much! I promise I will upload some more STALKER content soon, hopefully within the next day or so, if my internet permits me to. The ridiculous chill here in Indiana has taken it's toll on my Comcast service, my upload and download speeds right now are like molasses.
Kingo's gone? What
Only for a day though.
Installed Reborn
Was greeted by a pack of pseudodogs running through a wall at the very start of the game

also played more Misery and i managed to clear out the merc base with a slightly upgraded AKS74 Cobra. Motherfucker what an achievement, actually.
I still can't find a TRG; this is depressing.

Day 2 in Misery 2.1 BETA:

Atmosfear shows its beauty as always. Blowouts can be configured to have alert messages which is neat. Actually they included a ton of toggleable mechanics which is a massive plus. Modularity ensures a wider audience.

Slight bug noticed at this campfire at Zaton's cranes; it keeps playing the campfire audio even though there is none.

Cats confirmed. They seem to be incorporating new mutants. I even saw a file for Fracture, also known as Izlom. Haven't seen any tho.

Description of the new artifact handling item. Very simple and explanatory description and it's not that hard to figure out how to handle artifacts. A manual could be added into the selling inventory of one of the merchants early on explaining about the synergy between lead-lined containers and active containers, since I did actually mix those two up at first. It's not convoluted, but I'm just throwing out ideas.

They seem to have fixed the huge description boxes on equipment! Now it actually fits on my screen. Neat.

As I was assaulting the waste processing plant I found out that it's rather hard to climb up these pipe ladders. It took me a good couple of minutes to get a good grip of them. Could be a level issue and not exclusive of the mod, I don't know.

Just stalkers being stalkers.

Remember Pete the Pseudogiant from my SGM ventures? His big brother Patton saw me lurking around in the tunnels of the homing seeker snorsks and decided that I'm not going anywhere. He kept me within the Claw Anomaly by circling around it and blocking my passage for a good while, oh and the snorsks were locking onto my heat signature and launching themselves at mach speed as well as modifying their flight trajectory to ensure impact. Seriously those things are like seeker missiles. Some mutants really do follow you a long distance. Patton chased me almost to the front door of Skadovsk from Claw.

"A blowout? I'll just be in an out before it hits, no big deal." It kind of was. I was pinned down by turtling friends of Tuna. Ironic, heh. Died because I didn't realize staying inside the barge actually covers from blowouts. More importantly I found another issue; The Wheel artifact (which has really attractive stam regen despite the huge +48 millisievert radiation) cannot be stored in LLDs OR active artifact containers that go on your belt. It isn't recognized by the artifact handling tools either. I wish there was an option for all artifact quests to just go to the quest giver and say "fuck you i'm keeping this" and it'd cancel the quest. Really, I'd love to have these artifacts for myself.

However, this is where I discovered a more annoying bug. Since I died within the barge, I was already heavily irradiated because of the Wheel and the barge itself. After I quickloaded, I got to Skadovsk safely and was at tier 2 of irradiation (the icon was dark yellow). After I had healed the radiation at the medic, however, the grainy and gray overlay did not dissipate. It lingered even if I quicksaved and quickloaded. It's not gamebreaking or causing a crash, but it IS annoying. The only redeeming thing is that during night using night vision negates the overlay.

Finally a small notion; the 7.62x54 rounds are Soviet products yet the icon they have says NATO on it if you look closely. Might want to change it. It's nothing gamebreaking, just a minor tweak.
That's all folks, I'll start thinking of the program of things to test for Day 3.
Nice and detailed. Thanks for the info [Green]! I can't wait to get this sort of feedback on PPx :)
One last thing I forgot to mention: the loading screen text has a few grammatical errors. Again, it doesn't affect gameplay but is another point that could be polished. If you want, I can make a list of them and maybe give potential alternatives. I'm not exactly a professional English speaker, since I only got categorized as C1 in terms of linguistic skill during the exam. If you're not familiar with the system, it goes from A1 to C2, C2 being the best, see here for more information.

holy shit I only just noticed there was another mutant at 0:24
If you try to loot a dead controller in Misery 2.1 your game crashes, I sent the crash logs to you, LoNeR

This is one of Misery's more repetitive flaws. Bad grammar, spelling, and punctuation are very common. Sometimes it feels like every body of text has a mistake of some sort in.
Additionally, a fair amount of the writing, particularly dialogue, feels very stilted and unnatural.
;43460044']Cats confirmed.
They've been in since the first release of Misery 2. I remember this because my first attempt at playing it ended with me getting spawn killed by them. :v:
