I think S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Needs a sound mod that changes combat calls and sounds to war cries and yells, like in Chivalry. You have a monolith off in the distance trying to snipe you and all you can hear is "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH"

If you absolutely insist that it's better to play with complete mod than vanilla then you're basically saying the game its self is shit.

They all just lemming train around corners and stare at walls...

the only thing i like about complete is the visual part of it, except i feel it has too much grass at times, and everything looks prettier than it should, shit should be incredibly worn down or broken. but i also have no problems with playing the vanilla versions (as you should always play vanilla your first time), so what does that say about me?

A.I usually ends up acting pretty foolishly (as is the case when you let A.I go about their business relatively unrestricted) but besides those moments the game does have fairly good A.I that is capable of relatively impressive feats and shows a healthy deal of self-preservation as well. I've had the AI sneak up on me a few times, they're usually better at interior spaces than exterior ones.

I'd say they work good, but the player cannot see them in the act unless he's really stealthy.

The AI's hit and miss, it's pretty buggy at times, and then flanks the hell out you and seems to come out of nowhere at others.

Oh man, I feel a dickhead after being defeated by such an stupid AI...

I've had AI crouch behind a pile of dead bodies before and then shoot me after I walk past. I've also had AI stand and wait for me against a painted mural all camouflaged

I remember playing it and the graphics were extremely saturated. Cordon looked like a rainforest

I don't really care it's a good mod or not, it's the fact people recommend it for a first playthrough more than any other mod that annoys me. More than even the purely bug fix mods.
