True. And the voice acting is cringe-worthy as it's now. But I did think the slow-mo bullet effect, albeit nice, would not fit a stalker-inspired movie. I'd more or less expect brutal deaths in firefights, deaths by mutants or anomalies, starving of hunger and dayz like encounters where someone either KOS'ses the other or takes them hostage / steals their stuff (bandits mostly).

The movie's plot in itself was rather basic and okay-ish for a stalker-based flick, but in the long run badly designed sequences impacted it's quality too much. If they had redesigned the scenes a lot better(Freedom's HQ for example was a freaking joke) and if they focused more on the places and people he came across rather than what he did(shoot people and run in the dark) it'd have been a much more worthwhile movie. It also had an issue with [I]half the movie taking place during night time while no actual lightning was used to illuminate the scene.[/I] While I do see why they'd pick Kickstarter to fuel their resources, due to the trailer I have a feeling they'll mostly put those things to use in trivial, CG-based aesthetics rather than fixing what Monolith's Whisper the Original fucked up.
Going to try and install misery 2.1 the older versions wouldn't work on my computer for some reason. so i'm just going to download and hope it works

One of the biggest annoyances with Misery I have is the Mosin Nagant model, in particular when it has the scope attached. Yeah, I don't [I]think[/I] MISERY team has a big animator/modeller/texturer group working, most of the assets I've seen are modified versions of already existing assets. Which kind of made me sour when I discovered the TRG had an awkward-looking reload I had witnessed in TFW.
In Misery, is there some sort of Über-container? I want to be able to use a compass w/o constantly getting wrecked

I remember there was a radiation-reducing armor modification in earlier versions of Misery but I couldn't find it on Skadovsk.

We've got 4 animators and we had around 6 modellers on team, where 3 of them did weapons and the other did misc assets. The thing is, when we had the modellers and the stuff for the texture artists (including me) to texture, we didn't have the knowledge on how to import the stuff into Xray, [I]yet[/I]. Neither did we have the 4 animators on the team :v: Some where at the right place, in the wrong time.
