Cheers guys. Didn't realise there are so many CoP mods though holy shit! Wonder why no-one ever does anything for Clear Sky, though it's my least favourite S.T.A.L.K.E.R game, nut still. :P
Been trying to get proper Anti-Aliasing in CoP for some time now. The ingame AA doesn't work worth a fuck and takes a really big shit on my framerate. Using the Nvidia control panel and forcing it doesn't seem to work either.
Why the balls does OGSE succeed in royally ass fucking any SOC installation it touches, and why is Facepunch up and down all day today like a cheap hooker? FUCK THIS SITES SLOW!

I've had it work perfectly on an install I forgot to downgrade and on the flipside, I've rolled back plenty of times to have it throw a hissy fit. Totally worth the hassle though.

Fucking hate FXAA because it blurs text and Misery disables the english voice files, so i rely on text. Either way, I'm going to just focus on getting this damn prefetching problem sorted out, it's pretty bad sometimes, taking several seconds for shit to load.

Guys, i'm disappointed. I started a Misery game via Black Road. It sucked for about an hour, now i'm swimming in cash and i don't find Misery to be a challenge anymore.

Then it just becomes an issue of mutants being a pain in the fucking ass instead of difficult small, extremely hard to hit fast moving mutants that kill you in a few hits are in fact very not fun at all to fight

Instead of a barebones no gear start, i thought you'd start on a road into the zone, getting shot to shit by military guys, the only way to actually get into the zone.
After about 3 hours, I killed 4 snorks, +20 zombies, 4 burers, a poltergeist, 2 controllers, tons of other bullshit, got tons of stuff, about to examine the helicopter boom, save corrupts fuck misery

Make 2-3 and every time you do something major, like win a bigass battle or find some good loot, save over one of those hard saves. Also hard-save every time you get to a friendly base like Yanov or Skadovsk.

Reduces way more than 10 rad IIRC.

There's not much crap in there for the burers to throw at you, there was just a crate and a barrel, so I got them to throw them down the stairs where they couldn't get it back up the stairs to throw at me Then it was just a point and click adventure. Shot them all dead with my AK leaning out from the doorway.

Isn't it that Xray shuts off at any bug other than graphic ones? For instance, a missing bracket could indeed cause a crash but a missing texture doesn't. CryEngine and UDK handle this very differently, not CTDing the while time, just giving on-screen errors (or off screen in the log). I would prefer the 2nd to the first in any situation :v:

yeah, x-ray has zero tolerance for code or config errors, but is totally ok with things like missing textures, weirdly
