Well I do, but not to the extent at which you make it sound. People have different budgets and rigs. I see no reason NOT to list your setup if it's in context and relevant and joining in on a discussion concerning it.

People may react differently on it and sure, there could be a situation where it can be openly discussed. But, when I gave my specs for reference when I was testing stuff people actually told me not to do so anymore because they felt envious. These same posters post here every day, so that would probably lead to the same situation again. I'm not telling you guys to not ever list your specs, but just be considerate of those peeps :v: I mean, I actually felt kinda bad after that because I know how it's been. I had to wait for 4 years till I had my PC and it's no fun gaming at 10 FPS with loading times of 5 to 10 min at least. I just thought it was within context to the topic at hand, talking about how it runs and such. I personally don't find myself envious. I'm more of a person who sits and thinks "Yea that would be a pretty awesome rig to have." But in no way do I feel the need to verbally exclaim my distaste for their circumstances or the hardware they possess. Maybe I'm rambling here. As you said, everyone is different and I guess it can evoke some negative responses for individuals even if you yourself had no intention of it ending that way.

I've got the i5-3570k though instead of the i7 and am still using my ancient GTX 460 which is heavily overclocked. Also got a bigger SSD. The PC listed there isn't my main one, hence why I'm personally upgrading mine. It will be costly, but I'm going to use it for my studies as well, so it's an investment in my future. On the topic of the thread, I wonder if LA will use hexacores as well. No game up until now made good use of AMD's hexa-processors. Weird, as CoP is praised to be working better with AMD than Nvidia, while there's less problems with the latter one :v: (I still remember my AMD card on Clear Sky, where the camo netting didn't show right heh)

Why not just get a 4670k, I mean its cheaper and has very similar performance

I have an MSI R7 260x OC, and it runs stalker pretty well. My CPU is fairly old; its only a 2.33ghz dual core.

Anyone here have habits from in STALKER follow them into real life? I caught myself trying to quicksave the other day while driving home from school.

That was something I found myself doing while standing around doing nothing (like in bus stops) back in 2010-ish when I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and basically nothing else a whole lot. I sit the same way as they do quite often. I also switch position quite often.

Sometimes I stand in fires. Actually that reminds me I have a mate, doesn't even play Stalker but yells CHEEKI BREEKI when he plays videogames occasionally.

I like sitting next to the campfire.

Is AMK Narodnaya Soljanka the base for all of the iterations of People Soup? STALKERSOUP, DMX, Joint Pak... they're all AMK NS [I]plus[/I] some other stuff, correct?

I think so. I know for certain that STALKERSOUP basically is people's soup.
