Soo Clear Sky keeps crashing after being 1-2 minutes in the game and it ain't the mods cause I tried 2 different ones by now and same thing.
Any ideas on what to do?

This is what I thought. I mean, we can't expect them to create new models or to use whatever's floating around the webs now because *IF* LA were to be a game, using content that isn't yours would obv. be very illogical

I'd like them to make the army outfit usable again in Lost Alpha :
I mean okay, it'd probably be one of those near-useless lightweight outfits but since it exists in the game already, why not ? Or at least give the skin to some of the army peeps here and there.

It has a distinct clumsy and blocky look to it that makes it appear like it would've been laughable even in 70's sci-fi but I really dig the helmet of the beta build SKAT-9 outfits, the ones with the yellow visor and flat gasmask.

They have already modeled some custom content and remodeled other stuff.

and managed to ball up enough courage to stop lurking and make my first post. I know you get a lot of "[I]what is b3st m0d plox?[/I]" - but after downloading nearly 21gb of zips and Rar's, and loosing myself in WinMerge, I'm just going to admit defeat - and ask:
-> I enjoyed Missouri 2.0.2, but had to remove it (until further updates) - right after clearing Zaton. As much as I loved striking a heroic pose to eat chocolate bars - or artifacts that slowly poisoned me as I limped back to the Skad, wheezing through my new ventilation holes - the weapon animations seriously killed my fun. I had the same problem with SoC - but there it was easily fixed with LURK and AA2.
-> So I've been trying to piece together a new mod with as much of Missourii's "realism" - but better weapons.

[B][B]- [/B][I]MSO + AF3 + AN + AS + Variations +Aresenal Overhaul or Origional Weps.[/I][/B] - I was going to go with Reborn, but apparently the increased spawns of MSO tends to keep levels more populated - whereas Reborn dosn't.

I really want all the extra quests and areas that SGM adds - but I can't stand the wooden animations and flipped weapon models. On the otherhand, the MSO combo would work - but it'd be missing extra features of SGM - and I want all the extra content I can get after Misery. :v: (Seriously why isn't the UPD a separate mod yet.) I read a while back that LoNer was asking for opinons on intergrating Origional Weps into Mizzuree - but I can't wait for 3.0 or 2.2 - I need my Zone fix nooww.
I'll probably try to get option 1 working tonight, and if I feel deprived of exploding chickens I might have to switch to SGM and just...close my eyes everytime a magazine runs empty or something.
Oh, and does anyone know of any sound overhaul mods? I can't seem to locate one that comes close to 'comprehensive'.

Ah thanks Riki, I'll check that out. Was going to try and just rip the sounds from Misery and paste it over whatever I settle on. I love how those snork fx's give me the chills.

Hello. I'm a freelancing game dev and what got me into the subject matter was that I have given up on other people making games the way I like them, so I thought I'd do it myself. I didn't like the way COP handles Consumables so I used up some of my time and resources to cook up a little something I thought you guys might like. I can't help it. I even found a mod to tie it in with but there will be an announcement in due time. for now, I think this here is the right place for some community interaction and QA.

Indeed. I think the first mention of him was back around page 130 or so - lovely work on the consumable animations - hopefully we see them implemented soon :smile:

I don't think there is because one of the devs has mentioned a couple of times that he doesn't really have an idea how to make the mod work with a Steam version of CoP thanks to the new launcher.

just like 6 months ago we had thorny, panzedraco, rikimaru and very rarely master paravin
i would include myself but i'm not really that productive atm
now we also got loner1, hangman, gatekeeper, 11meister, monolits, jamie (he's getting more active, anyways) and sometimes trojanuch.
basically more than doubled, god damn
and do NOT get me wrong, i am most definitely not complaining; the more modders in one place, the better

Also, offtopic, Postal and Craptasket are both awesome admins, heh. I really like it here. Didn't think I'd stick around for such a long time either, especially not after the incident on p141. But that's behind us. I think we're a strong community anyway.

Feel free to sling praise at the others, but one can hardly call me a modder. I just migrated to playing CoP from making Fallout mods. The extent of my STALKER abilities, is limited to installing mods, and failing to merge them. :eng101:

y'know, merging larger mods isn't exactly the easiest thing, especially if you're going to attempt to merge SGM with pretty much anything
that makes you a modder in my book. it's not like gatekeeper is doing anything larger than life, just merging mods but in s.t.a.l.k.e.r. mergers are like...idk...baby wizards
