Did anyone know Roadside Picnic go a new translation? Sauce

Hopefully they'll flip the offending models over, and add some smoother, more realistic animations someday soon. But it isn't as though they don't already have a ton of stuff to do.
When we're talking about MISERY, we're talking about a +20 man team divided into small team which are assigned to do its designated job in the mods progression (scripting team, sounds development, particles, textures, weapons, animation etc. etc.) I'm taking care of the weapons part as of lately as r_populik focussed on OWR2, and I've already been waiting on OWR2 to release, so that comes in handy. No, it won't compliment the 2.1 release, but it will surface sometime soon alongside PRZ2 as official addon to MISERY.
Modular is my standard. I am guessing NO:OWR2 (New Ordnance, OWR2 edition) will be an official addon to a newer version, but PRZ2 + PPX3: MISERY will just be an addon hosted on both the PRZ2 as MISERY pages. We'll see where things go. It's still too soon to promise anything anyway
As of 1.0 that AKM lacked proper animations. It's being worked on.
The animations seem fine to me currently, it's just the ironsights are aligned too high above the actual crosshair point. Do you guys already have that CoP in-game ironsights alignment tool? I've long since lost the original link to it, but I could re-upload it if needed (along with English instructions translated by Etcetera a while back)

My antivirus at the time had a hissy fit, but seeing as I used it to fix Swartz Mod 1.3's ironsights without any issue, it's safe to say that's a false positive.

Oooh, thanks for that Doom. That'll come in handy if I run across any misalingments in my merge.
And the animations in Misery or vanilla arn't bad, I'm just picky :downs:
We'll see where things go. It's still too soon to promise anything anyway
I'm on a mod dev team too, I know what its like. Small groups of overworked people, trying to do as much as they can in what little time they have left over from their real jobs. Whenever you guys get new weapons / animations into Misery, will be on time by my book.
such is life in the modding zone~~

How's Redux' zone going?
Who ever play SGM 2.2 with Enot pack aka "all-in-one"?
It literally turns SGM into generic kitchen sink. Not to mention ugly as fuck weapon models.

Well, its not exactly new, its from May 2012, and I have it too
Ahh, thanks. I didn't check the link, just saw it on Facebook via Official STALKER.
Spent about 90k getting Cardan to repair a modernised Stg.58 that was just below the threshold of repair for the toolkit :/
Totally worth it, though <3
How's Redux' zone going?
slow as always, such is real life~~ :(
What part do I edit in actor.ltx to make me immune to mutant attacks? I quicksaved just as I was about to be killed by a completely fucking silent cat, and my last regular save was a few hours ago :/
I think it's wound immunity, not entirely sure about it though.
Also why hasn't a G11 been modded into Stalker yet? Someone needs to get in on that.
That H&K gun had been modded in quite some time ago.

I can give you a special offer with an anomalous AK bundled together with this G11.
Holy fuck I'm playing Autumn Aurora 2 and just as I came back from the Bar towards Cordon for the last time to finish my quests. BANDITS EVERYWHERE.
There were even 20 fucking bandits around the place where Fox sits at, they even killed him too the bastards. Left none alive, but is this normal? Cause wow these guys reproduce like rabbits
Yeah, AA2 still uses the vanilla spawn rates so enemies come back quite quickly. I posted a fix several pages back.
Hawaiian sells absolutely bugger all in terms of ammo currently :/
I'll have to side with one or the other as soon as possible if I don't want to spend 12k plus ammunition costs travelling back and forth between Zaton and Jupiter.
It would make more sense to give Hawaiian at least a wide basic ammo selection (but not much of any one type), and give him specialist ammunition e.g. armour piercing and/or larger batches of ammo when the player gets the achievement for siding with either Duty or Freedom.

We reckoned Hawaiian to be with freedom from the start so that's why his loadout is this ... shitty :v:

The medic...tremor? Has the ammunition, if you are talking about Misery.
We reckoned Hawaiian to be with freedom from the start so that's why his loadout is this ... shitty :v:
In that case it would probably make more sense for him to stock more of the basic NATO ammo in the start (maybe a limited selection of stacks of 30 for the main three, or stacks of 15 for a wider variety of NATO stuff)
Fortunately the Steppe Eagle kicks so much arse that the large stockpile of ammo I have for it is keeping me going for a while.
The medic...tremor? Has the ammunition, if you are talking about Misery.
Oh, Bonesetter? I had no idea he stocked ammo, he's one I rarely trade with :v:
why on earth does bonesetter sell ammo?
why on earth does bonesetter sell ammo?
What better way to ensure you have wounds to heal than to give people bullets to cause said wounds.
Business 101.

Ah, that was his name. Yeah I basically never trade with the guy. It was only curiosity that made me see what he stocked.
Small OWR2 update for those users. Populik rolled out a small PATCH so be sure to install it.

Gunslinger Update! Smoke Grenades!
Is that an 8 round 1911 now.
What is it with stalker and 1911 mag sizes. It is 9. Nine is the number of rounds with a 1911 for the past god knows how many decades. Eights exist, but are rare. Lots of sevens exist, but magazines are cheap to replace, so few of them are going to be imported.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the seven round mags in reality, they feed like greased butter and put every other automatic handgun to shame in the process, but nine is what you use for combat.
Granted if it was anything like reality, the 1911 would be the best pistol in the zone almost without any contender. They are mechanically rugged to the point of rivaling revolvers. .45 ACP isn't going to penetrate armor, not that any other combat handgun caliber is going to go through armor either, but it is wide and does a lot of soft tissue damage, which is vastly superior vs anything alive without body armor. 230 grain .45 ACP is also subsonic, a feature shared only by 9x39 cartridges in the zone, which makes it the only handgun that you would actually bother attaching a suppressor to (obvious exception being the PB, which intentionally bleeds pressure to slow its cartridges down. Because, you know, slowing 9x18 rounds down is a greeeeat idea). Attaching a suppressor to a 1911 IMPROVES performance.
The Sig would come close for many of the same reasons. The 220's are damn fine pistols, though they are mechanically more complex.
The round count wouldn't bug me if it was all seven, but everyone chooses different numbers! The other handguns all seem to stick with the same sizes, but the 1911 just wanders around in every mod.
I can't but agree with you. The 1911 is my favourite weapon. I even own one (airsoft, though) just like a P99.
I'll see wether (when I've merged OWR with MISERY after our release, which is soon hehehe) the M1911 uses the correct amount. It buggs me, too. I once played a mod where the SIG550 used 20 rounds, instead of 30, which made me get rid of it. I hate it when people do that. Or stuff like the AS VAL with 45 / 30 / 20 rounds. It's originally 20, but seeing as we're in damn 2014 now, why not 30? I mean ... 900 RPM with 20 rounds?
Can someone provide the English Characters_voice file for SoC?
I'm getting bored with mods changing my game to russian, which makes me not understand anything of the dialogue that doesn't have subtitles

Is this for Autumn Aurora 2?
The directions for how to revert the voices to your native language are here.

Oh, thanks
I hate to do the "mod questions" thing but I've logged my fair share of Vanilla CoP and put plenty hours into Misery 1.2 and 2+ but somehow I'm completely oblivious to the other mods available. So, what's a good 'expanded vanilla' experience when it comes to Call of [del]Dut-[/del], I mean Pripyat?
Absolute's a given but what about gameplay? Pripyat Reborn or MSO combined with OWR or Arsenal? I'm a bit lost.

I've got a pristine military quality AN94 you can have for that G11. But keep the AK - I don't want to get psych poisoning. (Also any info on that pic? I found a G11 mod but its for SoC.)

And this. Is why I learnt to mod. Time to crack open those ltx's.
