I don't want people getting confused over what is essentially the same thing. And guys are there any other Clear Sky mods out there? I have an icon for Spartan but was wondering if there's anything else that should be there while I'm working on this.

Anyone got a mirror for the most recent version of The Faction War? I found a couple of links, but my Malwarebytes flagged them, and when I disabled it to try, it forced a shitty toolbar on me which took ages to remove. And it didn't even download the file.

oh my god, stalker aged so poorly i redownloaded SoC and just tried to play vanilla but oh my god, everything about the game is bad. LURK and Call of Pripyat really spoiled me

Gameplay wise its fine but graphically its awful.

yeah. i mostly just mean the visuals. it just looks like a 2001 game with bloom and shadows

ShoC was always ugly as sin. That gives it some extra charm, though.

with a few graphics mods, soc looks pretty dope. i could never really enjoy it because every graphics mod i installed put a permanent hemisphere-sized shadow behind marked one.

I'm glad to see more of a forest area. I love all environments within stalker, but for the area where it's based on. It seems a bit empty and devoid of trees. At least until you hit the red forest, but even then.

Loving that Lost Alpha screen, looks really organic with all the vegetation and space.
