;43944690']I thought of something like this. Same colour as the stack count. [t]http://i.imgur.com/gL285rc.png[/t]
yeah, there is always the option to just annotate the icons I think the cute little boxy font that's used in some Stalker stuff would be appropriate, but I've no idea where to find it.
Gamedata\textures\ui\ui_font_xxxx.dds Loads of fonts there
yeah, that's where I looked first. It was only a cursory search, so it wouldn't surprise me if I've missed it, but in the end I thought it'd be easier just to find a screenshot.
My favorite motor-vehicle review show filled me with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. emotions. In their latest episode (episode 3) the concussion/ringing noise for when you get melee-hit plays when the camera switches from the geiger to the CNPP. I really wish they did more with Chernobyl, as it was really short, but I can understand why a lot of people would consider it horrifying unhealthy to be there for even a few minutes, let alone 24 hours. It also reminded me that there is no more S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. im sad

Minor Myseri annoyance here, the 5.56 AP ammo is said to be the US military's M855 round, right? M855 isn't AP at all. I have fired some at steel, and while they do work a little bit better than the M193, their steel tip isn't really apparent until 300-400M. They will work better against armor vs the vanilla lead rounds, but the US military's actual AP round is the M995. Just something i hope gets corrected. I can get the M855 rounds at walmart in boxes of 150 for $70(really high, i know). Only military guys ever get to touch the M995.

Indeed. I hate it how I told my friends I'd be visiting Pripyat once, and they responded with 'rather freeze your manhood for when you return then' Like i'm going to roll around in the grass and drink from the water, geez. :v:
my guide ate an apple off a tree in the jupiter plant complex, that's taking it a little far for me in terms of personal safety
my guide ate an apple off a tree in the jupiter plant complex, that's taking it a little far for me in terms of personal safety
guide confirmed for being guide
All icons ingame with just annotations now.
All icons ingame with just annotations now.
Nice and simple, I really like it. The only thing that bothers me a tiny bit is that regular rounds don't have any text there, but that's just me.
[t]http://puu.sh/70pps.jpg[/t] All icons ingame with just annotations now.
Man, that gives me a big Fallout vibe. I just had a thought, F.A.L.L.O.U.T. Shadow of Arroyo, it needs to happen, one way or another.
Due to suggestions about adding M.S.O., Pripyat Reborn 1.14 is going to feature cut mutants: Cat, Rat, Zombie and Fracture as well as strong versions of the Pseudo-dog and Hamster (with bigger model). I'm also adding hostile mercenary and bandit spawns; Depending on your actions even hostile stalker spawns in Zaton. It will not feature M.S.O. directly but I will improve A-Life spawn in a similar manner. A-life will be a bit more diversified, you will see improvements especially in Zaton which is pretty boring usually. If you piss of the bandits there will be more hostile bandit spawns and as you progress through the main story more mutants will spawn in Zaton making it harder on subsequent returns to the level. I'll probably also have a drag & droppable Variation mod addon.
Are you planning at this stage - to include MSO's ability to dynamically respawn enemies into areas that have already been cleared?
For now I'm only altering "sim" smarts. I'm leaving bases and quest related smart_terrains untouched. MSO and Misery 2.0 beta's broken quest issues stemmed from invalid reuse of quest related areas; something I want to avoid. Maybe at some point I will add new exclusive jobs and reuse quest smarts. I've always wanted to do something with Bloodsucker lair and the underpass.

I'm yet to run into them in my Miserii playthrough yet, but I've read quite a few posts on several forums about saves seemingly irretrievably corrupted by exactly that. Mind you, I went back the sawmill a few hours back and was disappointed that the place had become a ghost-town. If scripted zones can't be reliably respawned - could new spawn nodes be added in at various 'unoccupied' points of the map to up the population - or at least keep it constant throughout the game - without running the risk of conflicts?
Man, that gives me a big Fallout vibe. I just had a thought, F.A.L.L.O.U.T. Shadow of Arroyo, it needs to happen, one way or another.
That reminds me of seeing one guy who supposedly was making a Fallout mod for Shadow of Chernobyl. Later he seemed to change the game to CoP and all what was there were some screenshots taken from the Level Editor which just showed some of 3's bunker assets with the AI map strewn across them. The topic was closed real soon which may have been due to the author giving the odd promise of being 55% done at the time of announcing it and saying that it'll be out on the next day. I never bothered to follow its progress so hell if I know what really happened. Just finished watching the latest episode of Top Gear. Whole episode was set in Ukraine and one of the challenges they did was set in Chernobyl. Worth watching for sure.
The length of the Chernobyl section was depressingly short though.
Old Crime - a crime thriller by Dima Mutagen Mangled eyes have been turning up all over Swamps and the inhabitants are scared. Ten murders in ten weeks, all committed with a Vintar BC, and still nobody has a clue who the old killer is. Mercenary Scar is a grizzled and calm stalker with a fondness for artifacts. He doesn't know it yet but he is the only one who can stop the aging killer. When his best buddy, Forester , is kidnapped, Mercenary Scar finds himself thrown into the centre of the investigation. His only clue is a rusted bolt. He enlists the help of an experienced ecologist called Senka . A passion for artifacts and "bread" is something we all can relate to." - The Daily Cheeki "About as scary as a minute ant, but Old Crime does deliver an important message about the dangers of a Vintar BC." - Sergei Skank "As always, an experienced ecologist makes the best sidekick." - Dr. Kruglov "I could do better." - Yoga
I found a new weapon pack for CoP and I've got to say, I'm pleased. More info coming shortly edit Excuse my horrible render settings (advice would be appreciated)
It's HD PROJECT time again.
I found a new weapon pack for CoP and I've got to say, I'm pleased. More info coming shortly
It looks nice, and mods with actual sprinting animations for the weapons are always appreciated.
Seen those already, lol. Well, the animations aren't the only nice thing. This may be one of the very first packs I've downloaded from AMK-ru with ACTUAL WEAPON BALANCE. Weapons deal some great power (even the m1911 in the vid snipes zombies at 50 to 80 meters, if you've got a good aim)
