If we get more revolver, we NEED a Nagant revolver. Nothing beats confusing the hell out of your enemies by shooting them with a suppressed revolver. Take note Myseri devs, that is what i want.
Good luck ever finding one of those in the Zone, especially with ammo, the Nagant revolver makes more sense because they're everywhere and ammo is not especially uncommon.
Too bad STALKER never had ammo crafting.
Hey guys, the Firearms Sound Library that I pimped out a few months ago is finally done! You can get all their stuff here, royalty and payment free.
This may sounds stupid but their website presentation catched my eye a lot, and I was very pleased to see that it was made with a free-to-use tool. I just tried it a bit and I'm pretty satisfied with it right now:

(I know it's silly but I always wanted to make a website for my mods. Don't judge me.)
So thank you for the double discovery ! I was looking for a noob-friendly website creation tool since a long time. And to return on the subject, this library sounds really good from what I've heard till now. The gunshots sounds are probably not suitable for a Stalker weapon, (Way too realistic in the sense that these are rather "flat" sounds) but the reloading noises are very nice and well recorded, especially the AK's ones.
Can anyone help me with this problem i have? When ever i go into Red Forest from the army warehouses, it crashes on loading. The only mod i have installed is Oblivion Lost.
STALKER saves a crashlog into your clipboard when you crash. After the game crashes ctrl+v here and post your crashlog or we can't help you.

Back when this was VERY VERY early build back in April 2012

I was bored so I decided to make this:

For those who will ask: This is a heavily modified version of Clear Sky Complete's weather system with some Atmosfear's stuff. It was already present in the 0.8.5 version of my mod, but it progressed a lot since that time. (I tried to be as close as possible to both Oblivion Lost and Shadow of Tchernobyl depressing but somehow colourful atmospheres, since it has always been my favorite vision of the Zone)
I just got a message from Beard that it is time for me to do the barge defense mission with Noah in SGM 2.2. I think I am ready:

Time to kick some mutant ass!
You are never ready.

Probably gonna need to take a bit more than that. :v: And by a bit I mean a lot.
Bah, I should be fine, after all I made it through with less in my other game. Plus the three alpha squads camping outside Skadovsk provided me with some great target practice.
If you set some triggered explosives up on the Controller spawns pre-battle you can save yourself a fair bit of effort.
You may also want to buy a suit slightly more suited to combat.
Speaking of barge defense mission.

Oh you SGM, apparently a M82 isn't a sniper rifle. Better grab my Vintorez then. Might as well switch to Clear Sky body armor while I get that too.
Strider randomly turned hostile inside of yanov in my current SGM play through. Dunno what I did. Guess he can't come to pripyat.
Where's the latest version of SGM 2.2, and the patch to skip the whole cordon shite? Found an English all-in-one, but then there's this Enot edition thing, and various fixes scattered around, and still haven't found this fabled patch to fast-forward past that cordon bit.

As far as I'm aware, David.Me's is the most stable, and includes AF3 merge files. You need to download AF3 seperately, install it, then install his merge over it.

Couldn't take the Clear Sky armor, but I still pulled through. I had to redo it twice because David kept dying. This is my inventory after doing the mission:

I used a few repair kits and I used some medical supplies when shit got hairy in a close encounter with a burer and controller. Nearly 2000 shots fired from my Groza. Overall, it wasn't as bad as I expected.
Guess he can't come to pripyat.
Unless you killed him, it shouldn't matter that much since I think that when you start the mission to go to Pripyat, he gets despawned and a new strider with the Monolith SEVA Strider with the helmet on will be spawned in his place. I'm basing this on the fact that Sokolov's inventory seems to reset after the Underpass meaning that he's probably a whole new character instead of just a model swap. This is all speculation not based on looking around the files though.

If you want maximum fun, go with 2.1, 2.2 removes a lot of fun things like the stashes. Nothing like grabbing an artifact that has a radiation of -9.

2.1? Only Capitalists truly enjoy 2.1. Go geonezis for superior wizardry. Game will play you. Like harmonica. Made of kalashinakov.

Wait what? 2.2 still has SGM stashes.

Do you load 7.62 into the harmonica to get it to play?
