So, I'm trying to launch Narodnaya Solyanka version 19.04, with english translation, but I keep getting this crash, preventing me from even launching the game: Expression : fatal error Function : CStringTable::Load File : E:\stalker\sources\trunk\xr_3da\xrGame\string_table.cpp Line : 53 Description : <no expression> Arguments : string table xml file not found ui_st_mm_mp.xml, for language rus I've read that you have to edit localization.ltx, changing rus to eng, but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Anything else I can do?

I have no problems with rails in STALKER. If you got the rubles to afford'em then go ahead. Also does it look like a linear shooter now because there are rails? Because it still looks like fucking STALKER.

Not too pleased with how I find myself not needing to change guns too often in Legendary. I get hold of a really good semi-auto sniper to go with my Benelli short and I seem to be set for the entire game. Much better when games allow you to swap weapons often and utilize their strengths instead of just getting god cannons.

I understand that sentiment, but god canons are just too fun sometimes. I always saw LEGENDARY as the fun wacky time mod. That' why I went around diving jeeps and doing drive bys on bandits. In other news I just got to the Bar in ZoA. A-Life fucked up and spawned 30 soldiers (I counted the bodies). Already beleaguered and tired from Apogorom it wasn't fun. In better news the DUTY boys manning the Southern checkpoint didn't suffer a single death. I have a new favorite faction. [editline]16th March 2014[/editline] Also the bar only supplies slav-shit. That makes me sad.

I was walking around Zaton today in Misery 2.1 when I heard a bandit nearby, so I got my moist nugget out and started walking around trying to find him. When I did eventually find him, he saw me, and promptly gunned it in the other direction at a full sprint. So I shot him, and he went down. All I found in his inventory was a broken double barreled shotgun and nothing else. No ammo, money, nothing. Dude must've been robbed and not allowed back in Skadovsk or something. Such is life in the zone.

So I've been fighting at the Arena today. Me with a sawnoff VS two guys. It's pretty tough, I'm chasing them and they're chasing me. In fact, I think it's cool, but It seems taken out of MW2 in my opinion, which is not bad or wrong on itself. And totally apart, was the commentary that those extremely recluded spaces make it seem like a linear shooter -which STALKER isn't- Don't know why the dumb rates.
