We therefor encourage everyone to mod the mod, especially people who're experienced with modding. Still, I think you're going to like this version more than the previous one
I'm assuming that beta saves won't work with the new one? Hopefully this time round I don't get that crash at the Jupiter factory.

I will indeed this time mod the files myself just to tweak the ballistics and AI if they still are as they were previously. But from what you say. I'm holding hope that it's all sorted out. :v:

So was 2.1 of misery integrated with OWR/the addon for it?
Eh, I hope Vostok NEVER gets the chance to make STALKER 2. Remember most of these guys are the people who couldn't fix X-Ray within the span of 3 games. They couldn't do nothing but recycle content and ideas made by modders; even Call of Pripyat was a stolen idea. For CS and CoP I heard they hired modders. So really, It's probably their fault Stalker 2 was never made because they all suck except Dimitry. Their real talent went on to make Metro series.
True. I've heard that Survarium is pretty darn shitty as well. Makes me sad, to see the creators of our beloved series fall even further
Well Technobacon stalker soup is a dead end. Kruglov never spawned, and isn't at the bunker when Sak tries talking to him so he never exits his talking scripts and thus I can't talk to sak and can't continue on with the story. So...yeah. Woo.
I played some SGM 2.2 and remembered why I stopped last time. Grenades.

Its a bit unfair, sadly there isn't any real middle ground other than having them be stupidly op with them, or not having the ability at all. :v:

I'm playing Shadow of Chernobyl and got a quest to kill a guy in that town with the bar in now everyone hates me, is there a way to get them to stop?

Only ways around it is to change the script handling that, editing your reputation via script, or via a mod that allows you to pay off/bride, or a mixture of the above.
