Beats my laptop. 15-20 fps in SoC on all low, if I see one too many trees it'll drop to 5. Is it just me or do outdoor areas in vanilla Clear Sky look a lot better visually than vanilla CoP? Also gunslinger + Call of Chernobyl would be sex. Does anybody know if CoC would have randomly generated quests, or if it's strictly freeplay? They mention "gulag jobs" but I have no idea what the hell that means.

Wasn't that because some mods removed the adjustment rates for NPC's in the guns recoil section? I still remember duty fighting the military in cordon and at a certain moment in time they were all running around shooting in the sky and stuff
I once had a bunch of freedom guys with a bunch of bandits and some duty in one area (The towers in jupiter in CoP), all of them looking up at and shooting at the sky. There was plenty of shouting too. A single blood sucker showed up and killed all of them. STALKER love to bug out in that one spot, but that was the only time I saw them actually shooting into the sky.

Is there a console command for loading a map up? I'm stuck in the Red Forest in SGM, which a crash that triggers when I walk past a gate so I'm stuck. :(

But what I've gathered of it personally, it seems to have some of the maps from the old SoC builds like 1935 Cordon and the old Garbage and old Yantar map. It can be made to work on a western SoC but reportedly it works the best on a russian copy of Shadow of Chernobyl.

There are a bunch of maps and they have been borrowed from the old builds, though there's also the CS Swamp level but I haven't been there yet. There is the old Cordon, old Garbage, Agroprom, a somewhat different Agroprom Underground, the Swamps from CS, Darkscape, old Bar and Wild Territory merged together into "Rostok", a version of Pripyat which is apparently SoC's and CoP's Pripyat merged together, old Dark Valley, old Lab X-18, old X-10, old Yantar (which has been changed a bit and the lake actually has water in it now and the scientists' camp has been changed somewhat to be a more comfy location ), Zaton, old Radar, Generators, CNPP, X-8 and probably some other map I forgot about. The maps themselves are a bit more devoid of stalkers than in vanilla and so far it seems alright, though Zaton felt boring since that map being even more empty than vanilla CoP always leads me to getting bored with being there. The ammunition system works the same way as in the old builds - you have to place ammunition on your belt to be able to load it into weapons. The same applies to grenades as well. A nifty feature is that when you mouse over a weapon, the ammunition it uses is highlighted as green, the items you have equipped are also colored in trade menus (which is apparently that X-Ray Extensions feature). You can hire companions a la OGSE to get them to tag along and run into anomalies along with you. The mod has detectors added in it, though they seem more willing to just detect visible anomalies for me with a sound signal. Detectors and your headlamp are powered with batteries which you can buy. There are also purchasable night vision goggles which seem to work the same way. Apparently exos also are powered with some other energy source. You don't know what an artifact does until you take it to Sakharov's place and identify it for a small fee. Artifacts can irradiate you when in your inventory and seem to take their effects there as well. There is a small note on the mod's feature list which says that artifact weight is a bit randomised as well, but I haven't noticed much yet since I haven't really begun collecting them so much. You can order guns from a trader, I haven't tried it out yet so I can't say much so far. Weapons have new animations and it seems that all I've managed to run into use the ones Shoker 2 has. You can also go to mechanics to repair and upgrade your weapons. Inventory items' descriptions work kind of like CoP in the sense that as soon as you hover over an item, a pop-up appears with the text written on it. It looks ugly as sin when viewing documents since the background's texture gets stretched out like mad and the text isn't really confined precisely inside the texture where you'd expect them to be at (read: text is layed out across the whole thing up to the very edges and it looks a bit messy). Cut mutants also have been reintroduced, though the civilian zombies look different than the usual since they have variating models this time. The gunplay isn't absurdly boring so far since guns deal more damage than vanilla but don't go over the roof. That's all that has come to my mind right now.

I then reinstalled COP and did it again and got the same problem. I then re-reinstalled COP Clean, and installed PR 1.14, put OWR 2 ontop, added the fixes from the Moddb page, and then the compatability patch, and once again same issue. Reinstalled COP, installed PR 1.14, added OWR, installed patchs for it, added the scope and stuff fixes, then added the compatability patch, and once more the same problem.
Weird. I went and got the [sp]Heart of the Oasis[/sp], now the Freedom guards on the Scientists' bunker are shooting at me. I did give [sp]the General's PDA[/sp] to the Duty leader, as well as recruited the [sp]Monolith squad[/sp] to them and tipped them off about the supply depot. However I've not killed any Freedomers and I'm pretty sure I visited the bunker just before going to the [sp]Oasis[/sp] without them firing at me.

OWR 2 Addon is a standalone mod that includes both OWR 2 and new weapons. Also, the patch is only for the Addon version. OWR 2 download already includes the fixes. Install order: 1. So is OWR 2 with the weapons addon or Shoker 2.0 a better weapon mod for CoP? From what I've seen i really like both (things like the new double barrel or pump shotguns in OWR are awesome, but Shoker has stuff like new hand meshes and legs + player shadow) Also does anybody have a working download of shoker 2.0 for english CoP (and/or is there a merge with something like pripyat reborn?)
Welp. It just took me 12 shots from the nugget to kill a merc even when I was shooting his face. Time to wait for /sg/ to come out with that fix.

Bandits and mercs with the exosuit armor will shrug off a shot from the nagant though. Also the PU scope atm is not on target, so putting stuff at the tip of the arrow wont mean you will hit them. The most anything ever took from a nagant in my game was three body shots, dont know wtf is happening in your game.
travelled from zaton to jupiter open door to yanov 6 bandits squatting around all across the floor they all run off i buy some food and ammo from havaiian heading to the scientist bunker hear massive gunfire and decided to go investigate dutyers, freedomers, ecologists and bandits all going at it ninja looted myself 2 artifacts and a svarog detector after saving the lone surviving duty member i dont know what to expect anymore
