S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: The Zone will stop the Russians - Games

What on earth is an eclipse? I have a mission on SGM 2.2 mod to use a scanner after one, but I don't even know what it is. Also this game has some silly translations. Not really sure how to get shoker 2.0 working. I got the latest patch and the english translation for it but it just crashes after the intro videos.

Yes, even on the Steam version. Don't take my word for it, though.

Can I ask, does the SoC OGSM mod english version work well or is it buggy? It hasn't had an update since 2012

Don't feel like setting up shoker properly yet so I'm giving CS with that mod another shot, this time playing as the clear sky faction from the start after choosing to play the absolute faction war. I tried going directly to freedom but ran into crashes again when I talked to story-related NPCS, but so far choosing CS seems to be working.

I haven't seen a real night during my current SoC playthrough. The time says it's night but the environment and the sun says otherwise. How come?

Survarium is like if stalker was a good multiplayer pvp shooter.

When is freeplay mode coming? That's really the only reason I'm interested in it for. If it's done well, it could essentially be co-op stalker which would be great. EDIT: Shoker runs like shit. Did they increase the npc distance or something? I hadn't even tried installing absolute nature because it ran so bad, and it seems generally quite unstable. Think i might just stick to OWR 2 with the weapons addon, so I can use Absolute nature without running like shit, and AF3. Any merge patch for OWR 2's weapon addon yet and pripyat reborn?

And somewhere on the site it says what the different modes are going to be. Including PvP (the deathmatch that's currently available), Free-Play, and Co-op.
