I was playing OGSE and I just reached Agroprom Underground. [sp]I reached Strelok's stash and when I grabbed the flash drive, a bloodsucker fucking spawned behind me and ran away down the pipe not even giving a fuck about me. It wasn't even scary, when I saw the damn thing zoom down the pipe I was laughing my ass off.[/sp]
I think this moment just fucking made my morning a lot better though.
SoC just crashes for me :(

Misery felt so dull and boring in that respect. New NPCs would spawn in Zaton then be dead within a minute.
Any of you heard of Codename: Outbreak, aka Venom? It's another game developed by GSC in 2001, fucking great game and I'm trying to get it working. It gives me an access violation error in VITAL.dll before I can get to the main menu though. I tried compatibility, patching etc but no dice

I've played it some years ago and it's a crashy piece of ass. The gameplay is okay, at least judging by the first level but it's inventory system is absolutely horrible and the game never let me past the first level because it would crash when starting the second level.

It runs for me just fine on windows 7 and 8 - it crashes a lot but I think it's just the game.
