I've watched a few videos already, and I can tell that it is worth the excitement. He also played the leaked version, probably couldn't set it up correctly and that's why he's so angry.

Thanks for your answer. I almost brought myself to download the leaked build, to see if all the fuzz is at least a little bit legit. But I guess I'll just wait and see how that turns out. Hopefully it will live up to it's expectations.

Vintar indeed is an asshole sometimes. Even I had my fair share of time with him on the Moddb-LA page.
IDK what happened to him. He used to be so active in GSC and post all kinds of nifty handy minimods plus that his compilation mod was great, now he's become someone else :v:

Wow, just checked that GSC thread.
Christ, the biggest modding venture in STALKER's history is about the come out (granted, in unexpected circumstances due to the leak) and people are bickering like this?
It's sad to see the community split like this, honestly.
Kind of seems like dezowave got a bit uptight, and vintar seems to be a bit hot headed...but other people are outright calling the team liars over the leak, and calling LA a shitty product...It's a crappy situation.
I wish modding wasn't so competitive at times. Open source modding should be the norm, in my opinion.
Free sharing of information, scripts, content, configs etc. Everyone should be able to participate, like it was in the 'old' days of STALKER modding. Nowadays, it's just a bunch of "big" mod teams doing things behind mostly closed doors. It's a shame.
That's mostly how it has to be if you are to maintain a certain vision of the final product.

Starts off all serious, then it takes a sudden uncontrolled spiral towards skeletons popping out and hyperrealistic blood.
Maybe fade the blood covering the lettering?

Not a big fan. 8 seconds long is excessive, and the bloody splatter at the end is a little anti-climatic.
If I were you I would just cut the initial blurry messing about.

I've never been a fan of blood splatters as an effect but as that's beside the point it took me two viewings before I realized that the background splatter is supposed to be a radiation symbol because the letters obscure the center dot. Maybe that's just me being dumb but in my personal opinion the elements kind of distract each other.
While the discussion may seem like a tired meme, honestly I associate True Zone Projects to a rusted metal look rather than bloodspatter, as it's generally the visual thematic that Misery / Misery-esque projects have been going for, and imho that's probably also more communicative of your product / vision what you want to be than a bloodspatter on a white background.
intros shouldn't be longer than five seconds, and the audio should be quiet and neutral
if it's longer than that everyone just skips it, and loud audio is just obnoxious
So we all agree on this intro (from the rated M for mature part) is the best, albeit a bit long?

Because in all honesty, while MISERY is the biggest production amongst TZP, I kind of want to steer away from that. It's still my company and I want it to portray a neutral appearance to STALKER mods in general, not always being 'grungy' / dark / rusty etc.
I like clean and sleek intros the most, like my own here (links bcuz off-topic).

Might want to change your rules. They give the impression you own copyright over other modder's stuff (I know it may not be intentional). It's why I dropped out.
