I fucking hate the people who spread around bullshit saying that Complete is necessary as it just fixes bugs and improves graphics. It pains me to see that the most popular review on the Steam STALKER SoC game hub suggests using Complete or LURK to fix bugs.
What do you guys think of Zone of Alienation? The realism mechanics seem interesting to me, might give it a try. How stable is it?

Last time I played it, it got me hooked to stalker again. Dunno if it got any more updates but it was stable with a few glitches and stuff.

Don't download it yet, there's a new patch coming in the next few weeks that'll include 1.006 compatibility and has some other changes as well.

According to the "official" statement, that is, the timetable of the actual release is still just on a "when it's done"-basis but the devs are aiming to get the next patch released within a month.
There's an effect in Autumn Aurora 2 when you shoot a Desert Eagle the whole screen shakes a bit (i guess to simulate the innacuracy and the force of it)
I would like to have that effect on some other weapons, like svd or ak to some extent, to give some power to rifles so it feels you're shooting a heavy rifle, so how would i go about doing that?
Also i got all new sounds for majority of the weapons, with a bit of reverb added, to simulate that sound when you fire your weapon in forest or open space, and no more quiet AK's and M4's, those rifles don't use subsonic rounds are are quite loud ! (shot suppressed Ak variants myself)

TBH i hate some of sounds and love others :D Abakan for instance sounds like an smg, g3 also(g3 is very loud in real life) I could test the new version, or whatever, just PM me so we don't clog this thread.

fucking cunt cat creatures in pripyat reborn. Got tools for cardan and found an MP412 rex then those fucking cats swarmed me and getting hit made me drop my newly found rex in tall grass
now I can't find it anywhere

I'll actually test that out right now, I haven't actually gotten around to playing through Pripyat Reborn with OWR2 Addon yet. Hell, I haven't even tried the OWR2 Addon yet. I'll come back with feedback when I have tested stuff though.
I'm using the sound patch with Pripyat Reborn + OWR 2 addon, and I love it.
I really wish there was another merged mod that adds gasmask overlays like AA2 to PR, that'd be great.

Snorks are my most hated mutant. At a distance their fine, but I always get hit by that little somersault they do at the end of their jumps.
I'm playing Misery 2.1 right now and while I'm enjoying it, it feels like it's not quite scratching that content itch for me as mods like SGM do (has that been updated at all recently?). There anything good mods I can merge into Misery? I wish the Soup was for CoP as well. :( I think I've just played through the default stories of the games too much.

I removed black poltergeist in 1.14.3. Must be remnants in one of the addons. What addons are you using?

Looks like guy who made the patch has squad_descr.ltx in the files. No idea why but it's the problem. I will upload patch for it.
I'm playing with the OWR addon patch, and absolute nature 3 lite, not that that one would matter I don't think.

Trying to survive a blowout in Kopacy. Unforunately the research team is getting readings right when a blwout happens; are there any safe spots nearby I could make it to? I've been trying to hold up in that big sniper house; I can survive the first "wave" from the blowout with just HP damage, but the next wave kills me regardless of any drugs or health. I have a Zone Produced Anabiotic, but it only seems to knock me out for one wave, not the whole thing.

Ok so that file fixes it? I'll try it. If it doesn't work by loading I can just start a new game, I'm not that far anyway.

Haha man this would be so much cooler if it was in GTA IV. Too bad the game just isn't as moddable as GTA:SA.
This mod is probably more fun than STALKER Gmod Roleplay... or is it? Does anyone remember those servers from several years ago?
With that said was DayZ GTA SA needed?
