STALKER definitely could use some roof top combat. Especially if you make it so you jump to a couple other roofs (maybe you can have a quest to eliminate Monolith snipers and you can either counter sniper them on the ground or an opposing roof or be a cool guy and run up monolith/mutant infested building and take them head on)
That's a good idea, opening up doors to get more areas to move in. I wish the majority of buildings were enter-able. :(
Also anomaly fields in buildings so that you and other stalkers have excuse to regularly go there.
I'm sure this has been asked thousands of times, but how active will the zone be with random stalkers wandering around and exploring?

Yeah, this. I love me some urban combat and exploration, and STALKER needs more of both.

Might just be because I'm terrible, but I'm having a pain of a time raiding the merc base for the laptop. Probably should have gone in with more than 20 Makarov rounds, but I'm gonna fucking man this one out.

20 rounds in Misery is pretty all right. I can imagine the exos giving trouble but bottom floor has an MP5 with bullets for it. Take that and demolish everything, piece a cake.
Yeah, I grabbed an MP5 from one of the grunts, and managed to scrounge a full mag for it from them. Two or so of them have AKs, so I should be able to get some rounds for my akaban to deal with anything that bothers me ever again.
Great thing about STALKER is that semi-auto is best mode, as ever, so one mag can go a long way.
CoP MP5 is a ridiculously good lightweight weapon even in vanilla

Next version of swartz is using the shoker style weapon addons without the bags, will have a mag system similar to redux, and also

Like, the worst parts are that I can't carry anything without being exhausted, medkits are scarce and barely do anything, and shit will just come out of nowhere and headshot me and it makes me sad :c
