Maybe showing them a side-by-side comparison in the form of an image to see if they would like to choose the option. For CS I would say incorporate just bug fixes and ballistics fixes. CSRP should cover most of the bugs as for ballistics I have no clue. An option for high res textures could be handy but at the same time CS is quite pretty already. For CoP there isn't much to be done other than a few light bug fixes and maybe the option for high res textures. I'm not all that experienced in modding STALKER aside from light text editing so these are just my little suggestions for such a project.
