I've not been a regular of this thread or its associated community. Regardless, I don't get why there is a brewing animosity for the Lost Alpha devs, which is why I am just doing my part to remain skeptical. I'd like to get to know what the situation with Lost Alpha is since I plan on playing it and this is my first time here in a while.

I wonder how long until a AMK like mod for lost alpha is released.

So, can you guys explain more about this Leaked Alpha stuff, in terms of story about the mod while being developed

Just look at how many people will VPN a game instead of waiting an hour or two for a game to come out in some of the other megathreads.

Well we're antsy + this has just been a massively botched release so far.

Still... I don't get what the situation with the Lost Alpha devs is. What's this about GSC (I thought it was dead) and trying to get a sequel and the leak and... it's confusing...

I remember waiting for No More Room in Hell or Black Mesa, I think that ended up taking at least as long as Lost Alpha did. The best way to wait is to just kind of forget about it and be pleasantly surprised when it comes out.

But it fell through.

But damn, I wish most of the UI wasn't hardcoded in CoP. I would do some amazing things with the PDA and a SQL database. :) I would have stat tracker/rankings for other players who play the mod and a chat system.
