Who uploads their ~6gig mod on release day? Also can they upload on moddb and then not release it? Like upload it 1week in advance then make it public on release day?

Part 4 of the setup appeared in downloads section... Apparently first 3 parts of the setup are being uploaded now. Now I'm scared that it will just crash as it did for some other mods with too many people downloading...

TKaZa, the new admin of moddb removed ALL ratings that were a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The mod has a 9,6 now with 294 submitted votes. Gotta love the guy. IMHO it's still not right to vote it a 10 before trying it out, but hey, better a 10 for something you're expecting to be that number than rate it a 1 because of a borked release.

Not everyone knows they could've had the ModDB admins do them a favour and waive the file size restrictions.

I'm surprised to see one of the parts available on ModDB before torrent file. Actually, I am not surprised, I'm waiting for when we get torrent we get broken installer or botched files in it, such a disaster of a release. I feel sorry for Dezowave, they're getting far more flak than any other modteam ever, but at the same time I can't help but think they brought it upon themselves. They set a date for release more than a month ago and apparently did fuck all to make sure they will release the thing on time. They did not establish a torrent, they did not check all the files to be present, they did not check what upload limit is on ModDB (which just baffles me, how can you not do that beforehand?!) etc etc etc.

Will Lost Alpha include some custom weapon animations or does it use the hideous default ones?
