Attacked by a rat and the game crashed.

Does anyone know how to get key bind changes to stick?

What the fuck My game didn't save the entire time and then I died :suicide:

First :stack trace: one minute and 30 seconds into the proper game, tried to reload a quicksave and it crashed on the spot. Yeah, I'd say that the leak is far more stable than this.

How do you install it? I got all four parts and the setup.exe isn't working nvm

I guess I am lucky with it being stable and no crashes but it cant save

Man the installer blows. The progress bar just goes to full and stays there there's a reason they call it a progress bar - it's supposed to show progress :v I know that's a really minor thing but it bugs me nonetheless

Oh of course a blowout happens and the only nearest shelter I can reach constantly causes my game to crash...

Word of advice, try to stay as far as you possibly can from the rats. Their special ability is to crash the entire game. Especially when you're trying to get to garbage from Cordon.

Especially when you're trying to get to garbage from Cordon.[/QUOTE]I've not been able to figure out a single repeatable cause of their crash bug, other than it's them bloody rats. 2 out of 5 times i've been able to slaughter them without incident.

Agroprom Underground being part of the same level as the Institute is a really nice touch they kept from the old builds seeing Spetsnaz in bandit trenchcoat-SKAT-9s is weird though

For reasons currently unknown, this also means you cannot hear your footsteps, and your body does not cast a shadow. Disabling this feature in the gameplay options tab fixes it, albeit at the cost of your legs.

Right-clicking on the LA icon will give me the option to troubleshoot compatibility, and it suggests that I use Windows XP Service Pack 2 (I'm on fucking Windows 7). So, my question to you is, how do you fucking start LA without this error?

Lost alpha has taken a LOT of hard work, it being a fan project that took years to create means that some things were overlooked in development. It will be patched as time goes on, this is still one hell of a project!

According to Dez, rat CTD is caused by having enabled visible legs. Some sort of bone bug, or what.
