No, you either get Actor Legs or you get Actor Shadows. You can't have both, hence why the option switches between the two. It should say Actor Legs with the light OFF meaning that if you clicked it again you'd get Actor Legs.

Is there like a list with all the changes/things about Lost Alpha that's different from normal stalker that anyone's got handy?

So my game just closes after the new game loading screen, does anybody know why that would be? I don't have it installed in my program files anymore and I am running as administrator.

nvm, I'm reading the manual I found.

I have had a couple of d3d11 related crashes but they seem random and not related to where am I / what I am doing.

Crashed with something about dxgi.dll.

There's just something about those rats that causes crashes. I remember them making me crash once or twice in StalkerSoup and LWO as well. They made me crash in LA around the Sin guys' house in the Cordon. I haven't had a blowout so far, how frequent are they? I've traversed levels quite often doing quests and missions but I haven't had even a sniff that one is going to happen.

Holy shit Lost Alpha is amazing. When it's not crashing due to Fox's foot bone not being set properly, a rat attacked me the screen turned bright yellow for several seconds then CTD'd.

something crashed and i ended up with "in page error" crashes for everything though i suspect that might have something to do with my bricked memory.

I can't seem to get the game to run on my GTX770. I just updated my drivers yesterday so it's not that, and it keeps saying my gpu isn't supported.

Once you're in agroprom, you can't fucking hear the helicopters at all nearly. By the way, has anyone figured how to do the agroprom missions in the main storyline? I've found Strelok's stash and no matter which way I leave agroprom, my PDA won't update to continue the game.

[QUOTE=lintz;44663102]i managed to get past that part but now my pda is stuck with the mission to save the stalkers.[/QUOTE] I managed to remedy that by having lots of grenades handy and throwing them over the wall before you walk into the large stalker group already fighting. make sure you throw them at the middle and back at the group on the left hand side that flanks them and you should save enough of them for them to all turn friendly and complete the quest.

Really enjoying it so far. I camped in the house of the Sin guys, but before I went to sleep, I went outside to watch the sun set. Looked fucking awesome with the light slowly fading, and as the final ray of light disappeared off the terrain, I heard dogs howling in the distance. Love the atmosphere of these games so much. Also like ten seconds later, before I went to sleep, I got attacked by 5 pseudodogs.
