Oh! Now I see. It's that sealed room in the Brain Scorcher.
lol, red forrest locked door where in vanilla the sniper with the SVU stands. The code is really hard to get in the vanilla game but it is possible. Contains a few medkits and some other handy stuff

If I remember right, don't you get it as a PDA entry after looting a random monolithian's corpse? But the chance of getting it is like 0.5% or something ridiculous like that? :v:

Very small chance indeed. The diary entry is about the true name of the red forrest. IIRC this is it:
"In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, a diary of a Monolithian refers to this area as the Dark Forest and Black Forest"
The code is [sp]1287975[/sp]
At least he stashed it in a relatively safe position.
I remember sorting my inventory on a roof in Agroprom in my old TFW game, unloading a metric asston of buckshots for my chaser, and upon turning off the inventory menu I notice some assface climbed the ladder up to the rooftop, stealing all the ammunition I had.
Yeah, they're super aggressive at looting in TFW for some reason. I'll take down an enemy squad and before I even get there I see Loners running over to loot them, the vultures.
As I get this, please understand I've had a carrying capacity of 500, basically infinite money, and having been playing LEGENDARY - aka Oblivion Lost, but even more absurd.
Are you me? I've been doing near enough the same thing. Does the game freeze up for a moment when you complete certain objectives? With somewhat random results afterwards.
The limitation is not really the poly count. It's the AI Map size. It can only be so big. Sure you can slap all the maps together but you would never be able to fill it will A-Life. I'm sure there are limitations but it's nothing to worry about, by the time you reach it you will hit the wall someplace else.

You would need to be very willing to learn yourself from watching videos and reading threads. But I'm sure there are some people who will be willing to point you in the right direction if you are serious.
Well i'm pretty adept at Hammer map editor, but learning to make some little maps just to learn the way it all works, unfortunately there isn't as much documentation on stalker as for hammer, at least from googling.

Yeah. In part, it's loading all the inventories/weapon models for everyone it's spawning.
I think the other part is me carrying so many items.
Plus, STCoP:Weapon pack released a new patch and it looks super tasty as well! A video:

How would I get this on an english CoP?
Also where would I get this
it looks like OWR but without the shitty default hands

Do you know french? There are french tutorials, lol.
Not really sure how to proceed here... hopefully someone can clue me in on this part of Lost Alpha. [sp]I've ventured down into the lab underneath the Lost Factory, with both psi helmets. After the obnoxiously long cutscene, I'm tasked with turning off power to the brain, but I die within moments of waking up. There seems to be a couple controllers around too. Their area of effect wailing and visual distortion is REALLY annoying, but that's beside the point, I can't even get around to finding and killing them because I die so quickly.[/sp]
[editline]derp[/editline]
I figured it out, my suit was too damaged to adequately protect me from the psi emissions.
Do you know french? There are french tutorials, lol.
Nah bro.
The only things I can say in french/understand are my name and 'I am HIV positive'
because the first thing you learn about languages is all the weird/naughty stuff.

do you mean mapping as in creating new terrain etc, or just adding objects to existing levels?
very different beasts in STALKER
...Is it just me or did I not hear half of Lost Alpha's OST actually in the game?
...Is it just me or did I not hear half of Lost Alpha's OST actually in the game?
i've heard like only one lost alpha ost song in the entire game so far, and that's the background ambient music for dark valley
I've heard...3, I think.
And one of them is the ending track so I don't think that really counts :v:

Manually translate everything into sensible English. On my to-do list, though.
Also, it's more than OWR, trust me. You should go to AMK forums, everything regarding features etc is listed there.
So what do we call the non-poltergeist species of these things? Fuckface? :v:

It's too bad nobody has added back in more of the cut mutants. The tree ones and the horse mutants looked pretty creepy.
I remember the tark, but tree mutant? I'm intrigued, I don't think I've seen/heard of that one before.

I think he's referring to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 concept arts where there was a mutant that was disguised as a piece of tree bark. And it's added in by some russian mod, maybe some Soup equivalent or something.

If you look at it closely, you might find out something that shouldn't be there...

Holy shit, that thing is terrifying.
This concept art of pig mutants is disturbing...

STALKER 2 would have had some really fucking creepy monsters! If only...
Remember, guys: in order to get a new STALKER we first have to make Sergei think three Ferraris are not enough.

Doesn't it appear when you loot the Monolith target in that specific miniquest triggered upon entering Red Forest?
Doesn't it appear when you loot the Monolith target in that specific miniquest triggered upon entering Red Forest?
That might be the one for the stash inside the Brain Scorcher installation itself.

also this just in, 4A Games moves to Malta.
Celebrated Ukrainian studio 4A Games (creators of the multi-million selling Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light) are planning to expand their AAA development capabilities by opening a new studio in Malta, making this their new headquarters. The existing studio will continue to operate in Kiev, Ukraine.
"By basing our new headquarters in Malta, a member state of the EU, 4A Games will be able to better compete on the international stage" said Dean Sharpe, who now joins the board of 4A Games as CEO and Head of Business Development. "Malta offers fantastic incentives for game development, and we are confident 4A Games will be able to attract the very best talent from Ukraine, Malta and beyond."
Key members of the Kiev office, including Creative Director and Co-Founder Andrew Prokhorov, and Chief Technical Officer Oles Shishkovstov, will relocate to Malta, and 4A Games will continue to recruit the very best talent in both Malta and Ukraine as their operations expand.
"This marks the start of a new chapter for 4A Games," said Andrew Prokhorov. "We are proud of our achievements as a young studio, and humbled by the response to our output so far. The team is looking forward to this new adventure."
4A Games are renowned for Metro 2033 and its sequel, Metro: Last Light, based on the novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky. The studio continues to work on un-announced titles within the Metro universe as well as further, un-announced projects, powered by their cutting edge proprietary tech, the 4A Engine.
Wow, those reload anims and arm model
And I looked up STALKER 2's mutants a while back and it made me even more sad that we aren't getting it.
