S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: The Zone will stop the Russians - Games

Is LURK considered moderately difficult or am I just a rookie? I'm playing on Stalker difficulty and so far I've managed to get through without completely save-scumming but the military base after the underground was just pretty difficult and bandits seem to be expert gunslingers from 200 meters away for some reason. I have a hard time hitting them with my iron-sight SKS while they seem completely content with 360 noscoping me through some grass with their 25% condition makarov.

Anyone help me? I want to get more into SHoC, but i can't seem to bear with it past Agroprom.

I spent one month playing it before I disabled the brain scorcher. P. Much everything after agroprom is miles better if you can stand through it.

So, I've had SoC and CoP in my backlog for a while, what are some must-have mods? This game looks fun as fuck and I wanna start sooner rather than later.

I'm stuck on a not very okay PC, and holy fuck I seem to be able to play Stalker Soup perfectly fine. Loading times are shorter than TFW for CS (though, not constant massive alife is probably the cause of that,) I've only crashed once (fucking Duty checkpoint) and I have a stable frame rate. wooo. I could contribute all of my near-cordon crashes from every mod to that fucking checkpoint.

From Agroprom ending till Brain Scorcher was kinda "Meh". Pripyat is jure pure awesomeness. EDIT: Arghhh crap. Why all those super mega mods are unpolished and full of unnecessary crap? Damn it Dez0, just release LA already!

Nobody really hates, but nobody really enjoys playing Misery, either. It's a flawed mod with very large marketing.
