Shit is getting heated.
I honestly think that it's a legit project, but they've just vastly underestimated how to run a Kickstarter, and how to do basic PR.
I doubt the MDT lawsuit would go ahead, they probably just want them to stop making libellous comments to be honest, and I can understand why if it's legit.

That reddit comment has some pretty damning info, court records and everything. Plus, it links to this [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1672987132/space-pioneer?ref=live]"Space Pioneer"[/url] kickstarter, with the same layout as the Areal KS.
The two are so similar, in fact, that the Space Pioneer kickstarter has also taken some "liberties" with the art used on the page.

The whole thing just keeps getting even more confusing. Some of them definitely are who they say they are, which means the team actually is made up of people who worked on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. They were called UnionStudio when they started to work on this game in 2012.

I'd like to point out something about the reddit article. Those court cases prove nothing except that this specific person was evicted a couple times, not fraud. Leonid (Doubtful it's the same person) is the plantiff in those cases the redditor claimed were "interesting." That means HE is the one accusing the other party of a crime...Another thing is that this man would most likely be involved with other kickstarters or video game companies since the Leonid who is connected to Eugene Kim and West Games is a video game investor and CEO of an advertising agency.
I don't want to even give them money if it's real. They wouldn't know what to do with it.

I'm skeptical still. Although those court cases about Leonid prove nothing I would like to know who he is, if he is not the same Leonid who is the business management director. So Max and Leonid do in fact have connections to Eugene and West Games. I also cannot find definitive proof Eugene worked for GSC but without a doubt Peter and Yuriy have. An article mentioned Eugene worked on STALKER online but that was not developed by GSC. Either way Eugene should retire if this is how he leads projects and teams.
