[/QUOTE] What the fuck did I read? Now the Areal is comparing their project's pledge goal to Seed's? Are they somehow forgetting that The Seed is a 2D visual novel for PC and ipad while Areal is a MASSIVE 3D open world game for whopping five different consoles.

I remember how those two guys affiliated with the Clear Sky dude who was chilling at the scientist bunker got wrecked apart by parasites and bloodsuckers. As if that wasn't enough, they somehow managed to blow up the vehicle that was parked nearby and sent every living being that was caught in the blast radius flying across the place. Also, it's somewhat annoying that the TOZ-34 doesn't seem to let you aim down the sights in 2.5 anymore. Using slugs for taking out some humanoids early in the game is somewhat difficult if you don't bother using the crosshairs.
I hope OLR lives up to the hype, not like LA.
Speaking of LA, what's up with it? Is it stable or they're still working on patches

is there anyway in CS to "unlock" the path to the agroprom through the swamps early on? the area in the garbage is covered by 2 bandit squads and their main base being 20 feet away so by the time i finish killing one 3 more are already spawned and are killing me from behind.

Before spicing LA with new textures and models we need a mod/fix that makes it more stable.
It doesn't matter how much they improve LA, unless someone [i]floods[/i] it's A-Life with... life and unlocks all the areas; maybe then I'll play it as an exploration mod. Some of the areas were really, really fucking cool. It's just base LA was dragged exceptionally down by being buggy, unoptimized, and having a story where it felt like a eighth-grader butted in for additions. I'm more waiting for OGSE. I'm still hyped from that big log of technical stuff they posted. Dynamic. Fuckin'. Rain Puddles.

Imagine if a competent game studio got a hold of it. Imagine the things that could be done.
